We came right at 2:00 PM when they opened and were among the first customers of the day, so we honestly expected everything to be clean and ready. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

The restroom was dirty and there wasn’t even toilet paper. If you’re just opening for the day, at least the basics like cleaning and restocking should be taken care of.

The food was even more disappointing. The quality of the meat was pretty low and everything just tasted oddly bland. The desserts were not good at all. Also, the portions that came out looked nothing like the photos on the tablet menu.

There weren’t even knives on the table. If I order a steak, I expect to be able to cut it properly — am I supposed to wrap it up and eat it like that?

Service-wise, our server could have been a bit more friendly. We said thank you every time we asked for something, but didn’t even get a simple “you’re welcome” back. Small things like that matter.

For two people, with the automatic 20% tip included, we paid close to $100. Honestly, for that price, the quality and service just weren’t there. You can go somewhere else, spend a few dollars more, and get much better meat and much better service. (Maybe MOSU)

I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve.

One of my fave restaurant in the capital region! I don’t mind the drive, it’s worth it. Staff are really friendly! I can’t count on how many times I’ve been here.

My wife and I shared a nice date night here. Skeptical at first since we didn’t know what a Hotpot was but it was definitely an experience and the food was amazing. Even if you had to cook it yourself.

I took my son out for a birthday dinner and Volcano was his choice. It was my first time there and i have to say it was a great experience and i look forward to my next visit which will be soon. Our server was outstanding and went over and above and made our dining experience even better and the food was really good so my thanks to all involved in making the Volcano an outstanding experience and i will be back. If you have been thinking of trying it out don’t hesitate and see for yourself . You won’t be dissapointed.

I got to sit down and stuff my face for two hours with quality meat and seafood and it only cost like 40bux. The service was also excellent, they bring out the dishes pretty efficiently and the servers go above and beyond.

I am going to struggle getting into my car and I’ve never been happier.

Absolutely incredible Korean BBQ experience!

From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm, welcoming, and full of amazing aromas that instantly made my mouth water. The staff were super friendly and attentive — they made sure everything was perfectly cooked and that we had everything we needed.

The quality of the meat was top-tier — melt-in-your-mouth tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Every bite felt like a little party for my taste buds. The sides were fresh, the sauces were on point, and the atmosphere was lively without being overwhelming.

If you’re looking for a spot to laugh, eat, and leave totally satisfied, this is the place. Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.

First time here and it was absolutely amazing! The service and staff are totally professional and accommodating, they explain everything to you with step by step instructions. I have never done anything like this before and let me tell you it is a experience! They give you 2 hours to eat all you can, unlimited unalcoholic drinks, and there is a sauce bar with all different types of sauces to put on your food. My husband was in his glory with all the different meat selections. He had pork belly and lamb, I had chicken and my son had steak. The fried rice was delicious and so was the spring rolls and my absolute favorite was the dumplings! You definitely do not leave there hungry. It’s a little pricey but it’s worth it! Definitely going back! EDIT: we went back yesterday and it was still absolutely amazing! Love the service there and the food is always Super Fresh and tasty! I love all different varieties of broth flavors and the spice bar is still awesome! That kimchi is to die for! I also love the dumplings and the lava balls! For 3 people plus tip its about $170 a little pricey but worth a treat!

Food and service are great! We had hot pot and barbecue! Both were delicious. However, they didn’t have spoons for hot pot other than the one used to cook.

This was most of our first time at this establishment. My oldest daughter has been there before a few times. It was my daughter’s birthday dinner (they were born 14 years, 23 hours and 54 minutes apart)… My wife and youngest daughter got there about 20 minutes before my oldest daughter and her boyfriend. The server was very nice… And patient. He explained how everything works, a few times. So I’ll give him 5 stars for that.. And his demeanor… But I’ll give “him” 3 stars for service.. We had quite a few dishes that weren’t delivered or were delivered after asking a couple of times. Also forgot some alcoholic drinks (to his credit, he admitted that he forgot, which we respected.. It was a full house). The food was really good. The price was decent. However, and we’ve been seeing this lately, the suggested tip didn’t add up… The three options on the bill were no where near close to the percentage of the total bill. Total turn off,IMO. We did have a wonderful time and the service from the young man, overall, was good… But the tip situation left a sour taste in our mouths. I took a picture of it for evidence.

I would like to add that the server, knowing it was my girl’s birthday dinner, did bring them a fried ice cream dessert and didn’t charge us for that. Again, fine young man. He did a good job overall. He even asked us if we wanted us for them to sing happy birthday…. Which can be embarrassing…. It’s not for everyone… This is literally the first time I’ve been offered this option in my 47 years… And I appreciated that. We declined. We’ll be back, but they need to fix the gratuity thing. Big turn off.

***Edit*** I want to acknowledge that I personally know the owner, Bri, however I didn’t realize that this was her restaurant and that I haven’t seen her in a few years. My family and I are regulars at Yang’s Asian Bistro, one of her other establishments. She won us over, over a decade ago (she have our now 13 yr old a Valentine’s Day balloon from her decorations that my then toddler wanted… It was a sweet gesture that she didn’t hang to do…. That and the food has been great and consistent). With that said, knowing that she is the owner, I’m confident that she’ll take my criticisms seriously and do her best to correct the issues that I brought up. My review still stands, but I will gladly change it, if warranted, on my next visit.

Been here for KBBQ. The quality has increased a bit since they first opened!

Meat quality is good enough. A good amount of side options, and the sauce bar is nice too. The side quality, like the meat, is good enough. The lettuce is not the correct type of lettuce, though, so you can’t actually make a lettuce wrap.

You get your own drinks, make your own sauce, order any sides or meats on a tablet. Atmosphere is nice, and the service when needed is good. Pretty enjoyable!

They don’t take small reservations (sub 14), so that can suck.
