Our server Jeremiah could not have been more lovely and accommodating. The decor and atmosphere is amazing, and the food was absolutely devine. We would love to come back and dine again some day.

We ordered to go. I received a text message that the food was ready and when I got there I had to wait an extra 10 minutes because the sushi was not ready. The food that came from the kitchen (fried rice and gyoza) were now cold due to the wait. The sushi order was also inaccurate. I called only asking for a refund on the sushi that was inaccurate and they stated it was how we ordered it. I’ve never had an issue with the Haile location. The drive over there is worth it.

This location does NOT compare in quality to the Haile Plantation location. We have tried it 3 times, each time we are more disappointed than the last. On 11/29 we purchased carry out. One of our rolls was a rainbow roll and we were given a california roll instead. To make matters worse, the rice of all the rolls were crunchy. We also ordered Caroline bites and they were cold, not torched, and did not have eel sauce on them. On top of all that the size of the Mark II roll was smaller in size than we normally get at the Haile Plantation location. We have been long time satisfied customers of the Haile plantation location. This meal was very disappointing and not the quality nor precision, according to menu, that we have experienced in the past.

UPDATE: Nestor, store owner, stated in email on 11/30 “i will send you the refund.” Shamefully he is NOT a man of his word, this refund has not been provided even after I have followed up multiple times. He should be ashamed of his lies.

We usually go to Kasai, which has been our go-to spot for sushi since it opened, but decided to try this place since it’s right down the street from our house. Overall, it was a mixed experience.
The duck ramen was a hit with the kids — rich broth, tender duck, and noodles cooked just right. They both said they would order that again.
Unfortunately, the sushi didn’t live up to expectations. The rice was noticeably overcooked, which threw off the texture, and it was sliced far too thin. It would all fall apart when you went to pick it up, which was annoying.
Convenient location and great service, but we’ll probably stick with Kasai when we’re craving sushi.

Lucas was an incredible host and helped shape my experience tremendously. He helped create a very welcoming dining room visit. Food was good and great service overall 10/10

Not a good experience, the sushi was excellent but my miso soup was served cold, and the appetizer sampler was very small for the price. The volcanic entree is supposed to have “stir-fried” vegetables, but they were not cooked at all. Service was also very slow, it took around 30 minutes after I was done eating to wave down my waiter for the bill.

I got an order of sushi combination with a soup. In my opinion the soup was a little expensive 9 dollars, I wasn’t aware that it was extra. Which was fine, but after letting the waitress know after being upsold of the price, one of the staff was like , “check for tip”. Loud enough that I could hear it…

If I’ve never been to that a location and not aware of the prices, it’s okay to ask. Lol

Got take-out from here tonight; first time and last. $61 for two people and the majority of the food went into the trash can. The chicken was burnt and tasteless, the fried rice was gummy and not hot. Rock n Roll Sushi was much better.
