Best sushi Gainesville has to offer! I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Best sushi roll to me is the Barbara roll.

They offer more than Sushi, but that’s usually what I get when I go there and the atmosphere is great. It’s always good vibes and relaxing, which is what you want when you go out to dinner, it’s not full of a bunch of loud music or people and it’s perfect for date nights.

This is the takoyaki, I was honestly expecting a bigger piece or maybe a few small pieces of octopus in these. You wouldn’t even know it was in there. Only gets 2 stars because the flavor was good, but it definitely needs more octopus or a larger piece.

Delicious and fresh sushi. The sushi is made in front of you and is a work of art. It does take a bit longer to get your sushi order, but it’s worth it. Try the side salad with orange-ginger dressing! Fresh and tasty.

Absolutely wonderful food and service but I have to ding it for one minor thing that briefly ruined the experience; the jazz music playing got shrill and painful and overwhelming, preventing conversation for one song. But prior to that we were complimenting the background music selection. BUT! Highly recommended! I’ve been previously many times and will go again many times.

My daughter chose this place for a graduation luncheon with our family of 10. What a great place! The food was outstanding, and the service over the top. I only wish my daughter had told me about this place earlier in her seven year stint at UF. The appetizers were great and the meals perfect (I sampled a few at the table.) The Lobster Roll was quite the presentation (and good!)

Will definitely go here if traveling through Gainesville again. And thank you to the staff for making this a great family gathering.

Decided to have early NYE supper with my son. Arrived @3pm, restaurant was dead. Music was obnoxiously loud, blasting WILD THANG by Tone Loc, then the unrated version of THE SHIT IS BANANAS by Gwen Stefani, followed up by WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE by GNR. Who listens to this garbage while they are trying to eat? Anyways, we ordered Spring rolls (meh) then I ordered Miso Soup (not bad). Then came by Haile Roll…It was truly disgusting. The inside had old extremely dry, spoiled salmon (theres no way on earth that salmon was cooked this week) topped with tuna tartare and eel sauce. My roll came out after waiting 20 minutes and having to ask the waitress where the food was, then we waited 5 more minutes for my sons teryaki, which he said was ok. I took one bite of my roll, spit it out and sent it back. Staff offered to make me another one, but I declined. Paying $18 for garbage cat food sushi was not on my list of things to do on the last day of the year, but here we are. One things for certain, my New Years resolution is to never eat at this place again.

One of two places with the best sushi in Gainesville. This place however has fantastic basil duck and my all time favorite deep fried tempura cheesecake.

came here for a late lunch date with my boyfriend. when i looked for sushi in the area, this place had amazing reviews and it lives up to the praise. we had the barbara roll and the duck ramen. while we had already decided in advance, we also noted two reviews that said these items were the best on the menu. the atmosphere was relaxing and our waitress was very kind and attentive to our needs. for dessert we decided on the green tea cheesecake, it was amazing!

I are here today for the first time. I had the lunch Noddle bowl, which is Syir fry Yakisoba. I ate a lot Yakisoba when I was in Okinawa. It’s the closest to what I remember real Yakisoba.
I will be eating there again.
