Comfortable, quaint and delicious food. As we pulled up on a recent lunch visit the parking lot was nearly full. I considered that a good sign. Inside, the pleasant hostess quickly found us a seat. Our menus left us wanting to try more than we should but we settled on the Fonduta di Gamberi appetizer. It’s a nice dish to share. Creamy flavorful cheese with shrimp and artichokes. A fresh house salad soon followed with rolls and butter. I really enjoyed this simple salad. My Linguine Del Mare arrived along with both of my sons ordering the Pollo Parmiggiana. The shrimp in my dish were cooked perfectly. The clams were great and the white wine sauce was flavorful. Good enough that I used the rest of my roll to soak up the last drop. Both of my sons enjoyed their Chicken parm with the fettuccine Alfredo and want to go back. I definitely see us going back here…this place was on my foodie Google map list. It earned a “heart”. Thanks for a great meal!

We met at the restaurant and were immediately seated. I really like the layout and decor. The staff was attentive and very polite. Our orders were perfect and the food was exceptional. I had the chicken Parmigiana, and it was the best I have ever had. The prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back.

The ravioli with aurora sauce and separately the cannelloni were excellent! The portion sizes were perfect and the timing between courses was great, allowing good conversation without rush nor long delays.
They initially were low on bread because it was so busy, but our server made sure to serve us some hot rolls and bruschetta as they became available, so we hardly noticed and it really didn’t interrupt the flow.
We didn’t have a reservation, but they were kind to get us seated with a minimal delay. While waiting, we had a pleasant conversation with a local, and she gave some good recommendations and also praised Volare.

We loved the atmosphere here. The service was superb and our waiter was great to explain everything to us when we asked. The food was excellent! I can be picky about my lasagna and when I tried the one my wife ate, I loved it. The chicken Alfredo was very tasty, as well as everything else. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re craving some Italian dishes.

We were in Brenham for the weekend and decided to eat dinner here. Excellent choice. I had my favorite dish, chicken Marsala and my husband had the spaghetti Bolognese, both were delicious. We had calamari and mozzarella sticks for appetizers. Also very good. Would definitely recommend. The place itself is unique in that it is a converted house. A plus were the bathrooms that were very clean and smelled amazing. Can’t wait to go back.

Italian restaurant in an old house. Bit of a cliche but the food was great, the wine selection was a bit limited but priced very reasonably. Our server was great. Be sure to make a reservation as it can get crowded. Definitely worth a try.

Old house turned restaurant – this place is freaking gooooooood. Calamari was light, fresh and crisp. Chicken Parm was delicious and plentiful. Wife’s fish was super good too. Capuchino to top it off.
