Social Profile:

The Vocelli Story begins in a mining town in Zonguldak, Turkey where Varol Ablak was born. His father was a mining engineer so Varol’s childhood was spent moving from one mining town to another as his dad followed the work. This journey took them from Turkey to Essen, Germany and then on to Lynn Lake, Canada in northern Manitoba. When Varol was 8 years old, the Ablak family came to the United States in 1969 to St Paul, Virginia. The moving continued to mining towns in West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky and eventually settling in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

They only serve hot sandwiches which is crazy because a turkey and cheese with mayo and lettuce you wud assume is cold but for some reason that’s a hot sandwich and on their website it does not say anything about the sandwich being hot I wud assume from the website that the bread is hot cuz it may be baked there but to think something with mayonnaise is hot is crazy. I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE AND SO UPSET OF THE MONEY I JUST WAISTED.

Extremely disappointed with the pizza we got verses what is advertised. Barely any toppings and I think we may have found 1 pepperoni on the entire large pizza of the Meat Magnifico…. See the photos for a stark contrast with what you’ll actually get. Less than half the toppings advertised.

Pizza was low quality and gave the children stomach cramps. Peperoni slices were small and sparse. Wings were something else – I have never seen this kind of texture on wings before. Overly breaded and underdone – completely inedible.

I ordered a small cheese pizza with a friend, it came out perfect. We waited for about 8 minutes and our pizza was ready. The staff is very nice and I would recommend

Trust the ratings. Absolute garage. My pizza had less than half coverage of topping all in the middle. Then my meatball sub came as a panini with about 4 oz. of mini meatballs. That’s a whole? In what world is that a whole. And don’t get me started on the Volceli rolls. Literally 4 minced pieces of ham and I think I saw some cheddar in each one. All dough. Place is a a total ripoff. Save your money go elsewhere. Also 2 deliveries, both times noted no knock and no bell. Both times they ring the bell. Read much?

Owner is incredibly rude. Canceled my order the first time I tried to order from them and called but wasn’t understandable. Tried again a second time. Order came after an hour and instead of leaving the order as requested he insisted on yelling at me over the tip. If you charge (quite a lot) for delivery, then why are your drivers working for tips only? Food wasn’t even worth the expensive price point—the attitude guarantees I’ll never patronize again.

BEWARE! Placed an order online, I had receipts in my email and bank statements verifying my purchase. Clearly an order for this location. Refused to make my order unless I paid again stating there was no order in their system. When I asked for a refund they refused and told me to call my bank. The ratings on this place are there for a reason just try something else.

I made a 40.00 take out order delivered to a local elementary school. The Spaghetti with extra meatballs was unreconizable when looking at the side by side photos below. The sauce was horrible, like pure tomato paste, no seasoning. It was thick , pasty and bitter! I called to see if they would refund the order and he started yelling at me. He said nobody else had a problem with his food & he couldn’t help me. No refund or credit!Terrible food & Terrible service. Go to Johhnies Pizza near Shoppers to get real Italian food , and great service too. Skip Vocelli at Rosehill.

For the first time I had a Vocelli Pizza delivered to me. I give it a meh. Don’t order extra toppings unless you’re prepared to be underwhelmed. For what I paid per topping I couldn’t believe the few slices of green pepper that I paid over $2 for. How much does a wholesale pepper cost for it to be so skimpy. The same goes for pepperoni. There may have been one piece per slice. I ordered extra cheese which was good because I wonder how little I would have gotten. I couldn’t even taste any sauce either. The crust tasted fine but they pulled a bad trick by having over an inch thick on the edges. So over all, there will not be any Vocelli any kind of food in my future. What a rip off

We ordered a pizza and wings and tried to tip online but somehow the tip didn’t go through. We received a call from the manager belligerently demanding that we give the driver a tip in cash or he would cancel our order. He did not stop talking long enough for us to even look up the order to see that the tip didn’t go through. Rather than listening he made threats and when we called to complain (discovering he was the manager) he didn’t care or apologize. And on top of it our pizza was 10 minutes late. We will not be ordering from Vocelli’s again.
