Reviews
The fried rice is fragrant and flavorful, but the portion size is small compared to the price, so someone with a big appetite might not feel full.
The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the price is high for the amount of food.
1) The service was amazing. The whole family was so kind and full of smile
2) I set on my bbh or pho. But when I saw they had bun rieu and bun dau mam tom. I HAD TO GET IT!
I know a lot of people get pho. And there’s nothing wrong with it. I love pho. But my absolute favorite soup dish is bun rieu. It’s sweet, savory and delish. You have small things of each ingredient that enhances each other so well. It’s a mixed crab patty soup with tomatoes. I’m telling you! It’s so so good.
The star is the show was the bun dau mam tom!!! It’s this robust shrimp paste dipping sauce (if you don’t like shrimp paste, you can substitute it for another dipping sauce. But this dish is THE SAUCE). It’s one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s like a fun lettuce wrap but so full of flavor.
Chi Lee was so socked I ordered it because not a lot of people who aren’t Viet orders it. But I couldn’t resist! I will be dreaming of this dish until we meet again. Thank you VN Pho for the delish meal and being so kind. Also the mango bubble tea was yummy! ☺️
You can never go wrong with their pho, but I also love their rice dishes, and their iced coffee is the best around.
Friendly service and reasonable prices; I’ve tried every Vietnamese restaurant in the Hartford area but this one really stands out.
The customer service was wonderful. The people who took my order and brought out my food were super sweet and kind.
Not only was the service nice but they bring out your food so quickly!! It’s perfect for people who work in the area that need to get back to work afterwards.
Today I tried the Nam Neong spring rolls which were delicious and filling on it’s own. It has a great crunch from the egg roll skin. I also tried their special which is found in lots of Vietnamese restaurants. I ordered the mango fruit tea as my drink and it was refreshing sweet drink!
Overall the food was fresh and tasty. I will definitely be back again soon!
