I tried this unflavored and dry bread it has sesame seds on top and is dry and no flavor at all
Tamales are very expensive and very small portions if you are fat and wanna eat properly?? This is not your place I didn’t liked it
The chile verde Tamal is dry and I just eat the 50% because it was hard to remove from the corn leave and the mole one was very small portion good but very small portion
I have to come back in order to take a picture of the tamales because I eat them they where ok I was very hungry but food is expensive

Food is really good, but cashier needs some training on how to take and adjust orders. I can’t eat pork or chunks of tomato (I can have a little, like some salsa, but I can’t even have regular pizza because the sauce will make me sick). I was craving a breakfast burrito and have really liked the food from here before, so my boyfriend ventured for us both since I’m laid up with an injured foot. I love him to pieces, but he’s not very strong when people are being difficult. He got a delicious burrito with potatoes, onions, salsa, egg, and ham. I ended up with nothing but egg and cheese. In talking with the woman taking the order, he tried to ask if he could replace the meat and was told no. She gave him the three options (ham, chorizo, and mexicana) and since she wasn’t trying at all to work with him, he picked the one without meat, but also said no tomatoes or jalapenos, knowing my restrictions.
The obvious answer here was to just either make a regular breakfast burrito and leave out the ham or upcharge for subbing in a different meat. Not to send someone out the door with $8 in eggs. I have tortillas, eggs, and cheese in my fridge that don’t require going across town to turn into a burrito. Massive disappointment and this isn’t the first issue.
The last time we were here, we were overcharged for our food. Menu said burritos were $12 and we were charged $14. We pointed it out and she didn’t say anything about it so we paid, but it stuck with me.

The BEST mole tamales. They have many specials daily as well, we have tried a few (birria, soups, enchiladas) and they are always excellent. The people who work here are wonderful as well. One of our favorite spots. Must have the mole tamales and tlayudas!!

Best Mexican/Oaxacan food I’ve ever had. Best in Petaluma, heck Sonoma. Fresh everything. Even tortillas!

I’m not Oaxacan, but this food seems really authentic. Daily specials in addition to a standard menu. If you have never had Tyuluda now is your chance – Family don’t even think about coming on Saturday. It’s packed with Oaxaca.

I am from Oaxaca, I am Writing this in English so everyone knows that this is legit. They have authentic tlayudas. I missed those so much and having one here was just what I needed. It’s far from where I live, but for anyone living close by, or if you want to take a detour. Please do, have automatic Oaxacan food.

We tried the Tlayudas, tamales and Memelas. We all loved the tlayudas, they were well balanced and moist. We tried the chicken and pork tamales, also delicious. The Memelas were good, however a little dry but a good salsa or mole poured over them would take care of that. Someone sitting next to us was having a chicken mole dish that looked amazing, I will have to try that next. We picked up some conchas (traditional sweet bread)-excellent! I bought some mole, quesillo (oaxacan artisan cheese) and Chapulines (roasted grasshoppers) in thier store at the back. The Chapulines were fresh and delicious, I will be back for more. It’s a small restaurant, along Petaluma Boulevard, their sign reads, “Karinas Mexican Bakery”, don’t let that confuse you, it’s the same place. Parking in the back.
