Not happy with my recent visit. I haven’t been in awhile and I usually buy their breakfast. The portion size is ridiculous. I ordered migas and got mostly chips, barely any eggs. My husband also had a small piece of plastic in his food.

As someone who eats Mexican food regularly, I’d say this was just okay at best. I ordered the Fajita al Carbon plate ($17, no prices listed) through the drive-thru. After a quick 5-minute drive home, the fajitas were barely warm, lacked seasoning, and the tortillas were soggy. The rice was room temperature, and the refried beans were runny.
If you don’t eat Mexican food often, this might taste fine — but for regulars, it falls short in flavor and quality.

I ordered the tacos Al carbon with beef fajita. It came with refried beans, rice and guacamole. The waitress was attentive and greeted me as soon as I walked in. They dropped off some red and green salsa with chips. The chips are from a bag and not made fresh. The lunch was just ok. The guacamole is neon green and looked like it came from a bag, didn’t look freshly made. The beans were just off as well. The tacos were just okay. It wasn’t terrible, but nothing about the food makes me want to return.

I love Viva Jalisco! The Caldo de res is delicious, and the pozole is also delicious, and the tamarindo and horchata drinks are wonderful. They have excellent cooks.

Got the Mar y Tierra meal and paid about $16 on everything that I purchased. While I thought that was a steal of a deal for what I got, but I was wrong. I gave this place two stars because of all that I received, however, the food was not good at all. It seemed as if the food had been sitting for awhile. Originally, I was going to do takeout, but I opted to dine in. When I asked to dine in the lady that was serving, walked away from me as I was asking her a question which I thought was rude. The next reason I have given a less than favorable review is because, not one time was I checked on or asked if I needed anything, nor given chips like the other guests had received. Due to the subpar service, and not so great food, I opted to leave. I didn’t even finish my food. Will not be spending my hard earned money here again and I personally wouldn’t recommend.

Yum Yum Yum. I am so happy that I finally stopped at this location. I ordered a gordita,mini tacos and a tostada and I was extremely happy with the preparation and taste of the food. With Mexican food there is no in between, you got it or you don’t. Viva Jalisco most definitely has the taste and finish quality to deserve 5 from me.
