Viva Italiano Pizza exceeded my expectations the pizza was perfectly baked with a crisp, flavorful crust, rich tomato sauce, and generous toppings of pepperoni, sausage, fresh veggies, and gooey melted cheese. Each bite was full of flavor and fresh ingredients.
The service was equally impressive friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. The staff made sure our table was taken care of and everything came out hot and fresh. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable, perfect for enjoying a great meal with family.
If you’re craving authentic, hearty pizza with top-notch service, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Viva Italiano Pizza to anyone who loves quality pizza and great hospitality!
The reason I am stating this is because I did NOT get much service BEFORE the people even showed up. Otherwise I may have been able to order a freaking dessert or another glass of wine. Storm was more interesting to staff than a paying customer on a Tuesday night. So again it was NOT busy on a Tuesday.
Food was tasty and calamari was really good. I ordered Salmon w/Penne Pasta was a bit mushy and never had a Brushetta with the toppings in the middle of the plate to scoop onto the plain pieces of sourdough slices of bread. And no drizzle of olive oil or aged balsamic.
I did ask for oil and vinegar and it was brought to the table.
Also asking for a different pasta versus spaghetti that may be a upcharge I was advised. Well I preferred Penne with the Salmon.
Before anyone gets upset over this review understand it is a good place to eat. In the future if I return I will be hoping that the staff will be more attentive and helpful to enjoy something different. Thank you.
Atmosphere was nice, but pretty dark. We could barely see the menu, and not that many tables and seats around, but we felt cramped.
Service was JUST ok. Host was nice but only came by to take our order, and then someone else came to give us our food. No one ever checked on us after that. We ran out of water halfway through dinner and never got refilled. What upset us most, was that we were seated right next to a table of older folks who the waitress kept checking on constantly, like every 3-5 minutes. She was probably hoping for a big tip from them. We had to flag someone down for the check after waiting 20 minutes. Towards the end of dinner after we paid, someone from the kitchen brought over a pizza straight to our table thinking it was ours. When we said no, he asked every other table. Makes me think they could easily give your food to the wrong table and you might never get your food. They didn’t deserve our tip, but we tipped anyway. I hope they do better.
We plan to do carry out if we ever come back. It’s not worth the lack of service/attentiveness just because we don’t look like we have money like older folks. We definitely felt the discrimination.
The spaghetti was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and paired with a rich, savory sauce that made every bite enjoyable. We also tried their most popular pizza, the Italiano, and it did not disappoint—crispy, flavorful, and truly excellent.
If you’re in Pacifica and looking for a place to enjoy great food with even better service, I highly recommend Viva. You won’t be disappointed!
