We recently came here for lunch with our pup – they have a patio that is heated on chilly days!
What we got:
*Sopa Verde (soup)
*Inca Burrito with Chicken and Corn Salad
*Half Chicken with Cilantro Rice and Plantains
Everything was SO flavorful! Sauces were not needed, but we did enjoy the yellow AJI mild sauce and the green Huacatay medium sauce, which were also flavorful.
Service was great – warm and welcoming! While we aren’t exactly near the multiple Viva Chickens in the Charlotte area, we will have to make it a point to come back soon to try more of the menu.

We love Sarah she is top notch! She is PRO viva chicken! We love coming in to see her she always suggests new and exciting selections on the menu! We drive over an hour to eat in her store! The. Atmosphere is fun and funky! The store is always super clean and inviting! Thank you Sarah and VIVA Chicken Indian land! We will be back!

Great experience at Viva Chicken. The service was excellent — the staff member who took my order was friendly, attentive, and made the process smooth. They were patient and helpful, which really stood out. Food came out well and the overall experience was enjoyable. I’d definitely come back.

This is one of my favorite places when I visit my parents. The chicken is so good and the yellow sauce is the best sauce that they have. Orders are out the door fast not a whole lot of waiting and they do a nice job with packaging it up for to-go orders. Don’t miss the side of plantains trust me always ordered the large don’t waste your time with the small order.

Just ordered the rice with double white chicken and didn’t get any. I paid 9 extra dollars for chicken and i’m pretty sure they scraped the chicken flakes off of the ground and put it in my regular order regular order. The chicken was delicious. It was flavorful and juicy and Delicious. But it is something that my mom would make. The Yuca fries, were exceptional. And their fried rice was the best I’ve ever eaten in my life and I’m not kidding. It puts all Asian restaurants to shame. And I’m serious as hell when I say this, I will never get fried rice anywhere except from this place. I swear to God. I bought the quarter chicken meal which consisted of a leg and a thigh connected, and two sides. It came with a mild yellow sauce which was tasty but very mild. Next time I think I’m going to order the green sauce, and work my way up to the hot red sauce. All in all it was a tasty meal. But I think a bit pricey for 20 plus dollars for an individual meal. One thing that I did enjoy was the fact that they sell Inca kola, which tastes a lot like bubble gum, and used to be the countries beverage of choice until Coca-Cola bought them out. All in all I would give this an 8 and 1/2, possibly a nine. If it wasn’t for the price I would give it a 10. But yeah it was really good! Sorry, I forgot to add, the staff was incredibly friendly and courteous and cordial, and I got my food so fast I didn’t catch anybody’s names, but very nice and professional. And I ordered takeout so I didn’t sit in the restaurant but from what I could see,the restaurant was immaculate and clean. I’m definitely coming back to this place. Goodbye McDonald’s goodbye Burger King.
