My family (me, husband, 3 young kids) decided to try this place for their pizza and variety of dish options- we are visiting the area. Our waiter was amazingly attentive. I ordered the Seafood ravioli and I was not disappointed. I loved the cream sauce and the meal really hit the spot. Everyone else ordered a pizza and they loved it. My 10 year old sons told me to make sure I rate them a 5 star for the fun music that was played in the background too. Thank you for a great experience!

Was a great option for a place to grab a bite of food and enjoy a cocktail before heading to the Fox for a show as it’s within easy walking distance of the theater. The service was excellent and the portabella calzone was delicious.

I wanted this place to be really good. I was wanting some really good pasta and thought this was the place with all the good reviews. Sadly, I was disappointed . The caprese said comes with 2 chunky ones but they were good. The basil pesto penne add chicken tasted like seafood, not the vibe I was going for. The pizza crust was really chewy and didnt have a good flavor esp the sausage. The cheesy garlic bread was phenomenal. And the tiramisu was good but the extra chocolate top layer wasn’t and def not necessary. Overall, not worth 100 dollars in the least. Very upset I decided on this place

Friendly staff, very Italian atmosphere, and the food’s pretty good. No matter what day of the week, always call to make a reservation. They seem to always have a wait and the service is slow. If you’re coming before a show, give yourself more than enough time.

Ordered take out online via Toasttab for the 3rd time and the only issue is, I wasnt able to taste/eat Gambori after placing order so had to wait to receive refund properly and be told that they dont have item anymore. Order to be ready at 6:22p, pulled up a little behind at 6:27p and still didnt walk out unsatisfied at 6:46p. Could have received a call before hand to inform customer of issue(phone number is available) since order was placed at 5:52p. Food always tasty so will be trying to DINE IN soon for lunch 11a-2p or dinner after 4p. Park in back for off-street access or park in front (meters-no pay after 7p or Sundays). I will NEVER order takeout on a Saturday night again because my pizza I had resort to was dry and burnt and the pizza is always good(brick oven). Ordered: mama’s meatball appetizer (3pcs), lasagna, Gambori(gulf shrimp, etc) and tutto carne small pizza

The bruschetta is always hard to chew! Like every single I order it and try to eat it I’m using every muscle in my face to chew toast bread , why?! It’s always tough and chewy

Popular American Italian fare near the SLU campus, always at capacity on nights when there are shows at the Fox, Blues games, and baseball downtown. Starter salads are skimpy for the $8 price tag. Red sauce is (mercifully) not super sweet like some St. Louis restaurants. Pizzas are popular and good. Service is generally good, but seems to have a very high turn over rate. Other than the family members who work here, you may never see the same waiter/waitress ever again.
