Absolutely phenomenal pizza,hands down the best I’ve had in years!
From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place takes pride in what they do. The staff is warm and genuinely welcoming, and the atmosphere has that perfect mix of cozy and lively. But the star of the show is the pizza…LIKE OMG…perfectly crisp crust, fresh ingredients, and that balance of flavor is spot on!
from the house-made sauce to thetasty cheese that actually stretches like it’s supposed to. Even the simplest margherita is extraordinary, and the specialty pies are creative without being gimmicky.

I am sad to say I would strongly not recommend the pizza here. The Cheese Pizza has super watery sauce and a dough that has a chlorine-like flavor and is way too soft. The cheese on it, despite looking good, was bland and congealed immediately. Additionally, the Buffalo Chicken Pizza is incredibly dry and flavorless.

Your food is good, but I won’t be returning after my experience on Saturday night around 8:35 PM.
We were the only two customers dining in, and a young worker in a red t-shirt started sweeping and cleaning the floor right next to our table while we were still eating. He kicked up lots dust and made a lot of noise, which completely ruined the meal.
This was unnecessary and inconsiderate — especially since the entire place was empty and he could have easily cleaned anywhere else. Please review your cameras from that evening. It was unbelievable how careless that behavior was.

Ordered light cheese pizza and it looks like they put the entire cheese bin on it. For $20 id think they’d be more Than happy to use less product if the customer requested. Cheesy oily mess.

A bit pricey but tasty slices and a large variety to choose from. Ordered the Brooklyn and tomato pie slice (Philly tomato pie style without cheese not Trenton style with sauce on top and a cracker thin style crust) slices are hot, well done and flavorful with a crispy base and tender top. Will be back.

This is a solid Jersey mom & pop pizza joint! The inside is beautifully decorated and they have a full Italian menu available for dine-in or takeout. We dined in and had a fresh plain pie which came out perfect. We also had a warm chocolate chip cookie for dessert. If you’re passing through Pennington and in the mood for pizza, Vito’s is the place to go!

We order here pretty regularly and it’s usually great, but every now and then it is totally off. Case in point, we had friends in town from Sweden and wanted to share an authentic NJ pie with them. Sadly, our pizza arrived so “wet” that half the ingredients slid off the pie in transit. We called and ordered a replacement and they kindly acknowledged the issue and sent a replacement pie. The driver arrived and apologized, saying it was his fault, but it absolutely was not. This was a kitchen issue. They really need to leave any of their pizzas with veg on them in the oven longer because no pie should arrive with all this liquid.

Been a favorite pizza spot of mine for 20+ years. Staff is always positive. Quick to get your food served. Definitely stop in for a slice or better yet, get a fresh pie and take the remainder home for later
