O “Love to travel” H
This was our first time dining in this place. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Service, food, drinks and decor are to fall in love with. I didn’t even get a chance to take a picture of our appetizers, they were gone within few minutes. Food is delicious and makes you want to come back to this place again. It’s not cheap, but I can assure you it’s worth every penny you spend.

I love Vito’s. It’s an elegant restaurant with knowledgeable staff and great food. They are also great for takeout and our favorite dish is the carbonara. Their sausage lentil soup is great too. I’m a fan of Vito’s !

Absolutely amazing experience at Vitos. We drove up from Maine just to eat here. Their pasta sauce is unique and splendid. French onion soup was to die for. Beef barley soup was fantastic and very pleased to see a restaurant that actually has it.

Vito’s has a cozy atmosphere and has become my go to when I want Italian food. The service is always top notch, and the food is absolutely delicious with ample portions. I also like that there is a full bar with some unique drinks on the menu. I normally skip desserts at most restaurants, but they have a good variety here and I can’t resist the cannolis. I definitely recommend going here!

Went to Vito’s tonight and we were able to be seated promptly. But despite the restaurant being quiet and with several open tables it was near impossible to connect with our server. We had to ask repeatedly for things like bread and water refills and it took over two hours before we finally gave up on dessert and flagged any available body to get a check. Server described herself as a rockstar and perhaps that explained why she felt little need to check on our table over the nearly 2.5 hours we endured despite no appetizers or dessert. She made no attempt to make amends and I am not sure she cared about the awful service. Food was decent but not great. No interest in returning.

Vito’s Italian Restaurant in Fruit Cove. By far one of the best Italian restaurants if not the best in Jacksonville. We love coming here and have an amazing meal. Being an Italian from New York I think I have had my share of really good Italian food not only my mothers but some of the best ones. We found Vito’s around 3 years ago after going to another Italian restaurant named Enza’s which happens to be Vito’s sisters place. We went to Enza’s a handful of times and the last few times it was not a good experience! Look for my review for Enza’s if you want to know. Anyway, we went to Vito’s for dinner and for our appetizer we had tomatoe caprese and my wife ordered chicken franchise with linguine, Caesars salad and pinot noir. I ordered the chicken piccata with spaghetti, house salad and water and bread for the table. Hands down the food was GREAT and every time we go there for dinner we are never disappointed! The staff is always very friendly and helpful and will make you night memorable. The owner always comes out of the kitchen and walks around to all the tables and chats with everyone which something you don’t see anymore. I have spoken to him many times and I like that he cares about his patrons and their experience. If you want to enjoy Great Italian food here in Jacksonville Florida you have to go to Vito’s.

The most authentic Italian since coming back from Italy. Great family environment. The chef is amazing. Goes out of his way to greet you and make you a special dish. This is unheard of. Give it a shot and you’ll be a regular.

We went out for a drive and ended up here. I would highly recommend reservations, but we were seated in the bar since we had none. It was actually quieter in the bar than in the dining room, which I appreciated since I had a headache and don’t care for noisy surroundings. We were able to have conversation that I could actually hear, even after the house band started their set of relaxing saxophone and guitar music.
