If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine with heart and history, Vito’s is truly one of a kind. From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by beautiful decor that celebrates generations of family tradition. The photos and personal touches throughout the restaurant make it feel warm, welcoming, and genuinely special — like you’re being invited into someone’s home rather than just dining out.

The food is just as memorable as the atmosphere. The Vito’s Salad is an absolute must — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The Alla Rosa is rich, comforting, and full of authentic Italian taste that keeps you coming back for another bite. And you cannot skip a side of their meatballs — tender, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made from a cherished family recipe.

To top it all off, treat yourself to a limoncello for dessert. It’s the perfect bright, refreshing finish to an incredible meal.

Vito’s isn’t just a restaurant — it’s an experience rooted in tradition, family, and truly outstanding food. Highly recommend! ✨

Well this is one of the three sisters who run Italian Restaurants in Jacksonville Florida. One near 295, another off Phillips and Vito’s. Of the three Vito’s is the best of all three that are 5 ⭐ offerings. Let’s stay with Vito’s. Getting into the somewhat limited parking area can be a challenge but well worth the effort. Our party of seven made reservations, which we strongly recommend you do. Service and hospitality were great with great folks looking like they enjoyed working there. We ordered drinks, all were perfect. Appetizers of Calamari, stuffed mushrooms, compresie salad were all 5 ✨. Salad’s are great and fresh. Dinners from Veal Parm, Veal Fransie, Fetachine Alfredo, Clams Scampi and more were all fresh and delicious. Desert’s of Lemon Chello, cheese cake and more were perfect. Other than the place is a bit loud will keep this as one of our top 5 Jacksonville restaurants.

We had a great experience here. Our server was Alana and she was great. What a great place with a great vibe. We loved the piano. Very nice, our food and service was exceptional. The manager/owner even came out to chat with us. I highly recommend this place. We will be back for sure.

Been in Jax for a year and finally made it to Vito’s. We’ll be back soonly.

Had a reservation and seated quickly. Loved the atmosphere. Dim lighting, white table clothes. Nothing off the scale too fancy. It was all very comfortable. Tables all taken, servers all over. The first thing I noticed were the servers … the were all busy and taking care of tables. None were idle.

Started w/ house Chianti and fried ravioli. Both great … raviolis were huge. Red sauce served with it was the house marinara. It was perfect … and I’m a big red sauce guy. We followed with a Vito salad and a Caesar. Both the right size and the Vito dressing was good.

For entrees I had Chicken Picata. My wife had chicken saltimbocca. This was the highlight of my meal. Two lightly browned cutlets over a bed of spaghetti. Not too many capers and not overly salty which is always a risk. It was perfect! One of the best I’ve had. My wife had enough to take home for lunch today.

We held our ground on the bread and dessert as we are trying to watch carbs pending a wedding.

Major kudos to Anthony our server. A genuinely nice guy. Answered our questions, super attentive, always there at the right moment. The place has a new number one fan! I’ll be back!

Total bill before tip [two glasses of wine, appetizer, two salads, two entrees] just over $90. Very well worth it!

WOW!! This Place needs the 10 star option!! The food was Delicious! The atmosphere was Wonderful! And the service—Franco was THE BEST waiter! He knew just what we needed even before we asked, served with distinguished poise, even sharing several card tricks that astonished us!! We’ve lived here a year and this was our first time, but we will go back! Highly Recommend!! (I did not want to ruin the atmosphere by snapping pictures so these are from our to-go’s!)

There are many wonderful restaurants in Jacksonville and this is one of them. Scott expressed and delivered with his goal of making the dining experience wonderful. The food was exceptional. We had Vito’s salad and the traditional Chicken Parmigiana . The pace of service was just right. A very enjoyable evening. The owner Vito circulated asking how the dinner was. Owner involvement is very evident at Vito’s ! Try it you’ll have a wonderful evening with family or friends.

My husband and I took two of our friends out to dinner last night to Vito’s. Everything was great except my husband and his friend ordered veal marsala.
After taking a couple of bites, I realize that the veal was tough. Now they never complain about food but last night they should have. Unfortunately, they told the waitress at the end after we paid a $300 bill and she said well you should’ve told me sooner and walked away. A little disappointed as we have been to Vito’s many many times. We think the waitress should have been a little bit more compassionate, and should have said well, Let me see what I can do. But instead, she just walked away. From now on if something is wrong, we will say it from the very beginning. And also, I ordered clams Casino in scampi sauce and they actually brought me muscles so I had to wait for my appetizer to come.

We had an amazing time and dinner at Vito’s. The food, our server and the restaurant was fabulous. Our server was Yvonne and she was wonderful. She made sure we had everything we needed at all times, made wonderful food recommendations which were all so good and she brought us lots of laughs at her table. Just a wonderful experience all the way around. We will definitely be back BEST ITALIAN FOOD in Jax!
