We are a small, family owned dessert shop, located just off beautiful Cedar Lake. We specialize in making the finest Italian ice. Our ice is made fresh daily using ONLY REAL, NATURAL INGREDIENTS, not just added “fruit chunks”! We do NOT use any artificial ingredients in our ice…no syrup, dyes or preservatives! Stop by & have our friendly team members scoop your favorite flavor. If you can’t decide, try 2 side-by-side. We also serve mini Bundt cakes in three flavors. The pistachio cake recipe has been in the family for over 30 years! It’s a favorite among family, friends & customers! Cannolis also served with your choice of either our classic or chocolate, homemade filling. We sell pizzelles too! We look forward to meeting you!

We love the Italian ice here! I’m a fan of the traditional flavors, but my husband has tried just about every one—and hasn’t found a single one he doesn’t like! The flavors are always spot on, the prices are great, and it’s so nice having this place close to home. Definitely our go-to spot for a sweet treat!

Cute place, very clean. The Italian ice is not like any I’ve had before! It is so delicious! There is a no samples policy, but when most flavors are made with real fruit and you can get 2 flavors in a cup, I don’t mind that. The staff are not overly chatty and keeps busy behind the counter, but I don’t mind that either especially with how clean it all is. There is some seating inside but it was busy so we walked down to the lake side.

We drove by this spot on our way to Cedar Lake Ministries and busted a u-turn for some spontaneous ice! SO tasty and refreshing! We loved the real fruit pieces in the Italian ice. So worth it!

Not what it used to be. Overpriced, overrated, and Overcharged food. Not sure how they are staying in business with burgers severed the way they are, the cook looks like he just woke up and never washed up for the day!! I would say this is one of those places where “buyer beware”…

Vito’s Italian Ice in Cedar Lake has become our family’s top choice for frozen treats. After trying several ice cream places in the area, we struggled to find any that met our standards for using quality, natural ingredients. Thankfully, Vito’s Italian Ice exceeded our expectations with their delicious offerings. Our favorites, watermelon, and kiwi flavors, are refreshing, and we love that there are no artificial food dyes used. This new location is inviting and clean, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Vito’s has become our new favorite sweet spot, and we highly recommend giving it a try.

This is, hands down, the BEST place in the Region for Italian ice and customer service!!! There are so many different flavors to choose from (cantaloupe is my personal favorite), and they are made with REAL fruit! Vito’s is fun, retro-style, super clean and has a crew that will take the time to chat and make you feel welcome!!! One of our family’s favorite bonding activities is to grab an ice from Vito’s, walk across the street to the lake and enjoy the sunset!

This place is absolutely great! Walked in and everything was cute and clean. The lady who rang us up was extremely helpful and sweet! She was talking to my kids and had great patience after my sister changed her order. All the other employees were smiling and great as well. The prices were decent and Italian ice was delicious!!! Picnic tables in the back to enjoy! I will definitely be back.

This is seriously such an awesome, little Italian ice place! I tried it a few weeks ago with my mother-in-law and we both loved it! The staff is extremely nice and friendly, as well as helpful. Vito’s also has so many awesome flavors to try on their own or mixed together; they also have a flavor of the month! I would definitely give this place a try!
