Ok if you are within 100 miles of Vito’s you must go and eat there. Good is an understatement!! From someone that is 100% Italian this place is Very Good!

Awful – Ordered a Chef Salad -Iceberg, Turkey, Ham, American Cheese, Egg, Cherry Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Pepperoncini, Kalamata Olives, Green Olives & Red Onions. This salad was less than gourmet. It did not have the egg, the green olives, the Kalama olives or the pepperocinis. I called to complain only about the egg (I didn’t realize at the time that the olives were also missing), I was told that the egg was worth 50 cents and that the driver could bring me 50 cents. He did not offer to correct the order and then said that he would make a note of it and “beef up my salad” the next time I order from them. I won’t be ordering from there again and I wish they would refund my money.

When I walked inside Vito’s Gourmet they changed the looks of the place and the french fries especially. Food is decent and the food didn’t take long to cook and ready to be serve. Depend on what you get from the menu it can fill you up. Nice and quiet atmosphere.

I used to eat at Vito’s all the time but the food has changed! The quality has seriously gone down hill! Especially the cheese steaks, The last one i bought, I threw away, it was that bad! I think the original owner probably sold the place. The Italian cold cut sub is awful too! I won’t go back, ever. My family used to eat there 2-3 times per month. Too many other places in the area to choose from. Such a shame.

Always loved Vito’s but was disappointed today, 7/15. I stopped in about 2:30. It was quiet, I ordered 2 slices, as I was waiting, I noticed the tall guy behind the counter slice a cheese pizza, put a slice on a plate and using his hands pulled a piece of cheese of the slice and ate it. Then the smaller guy took the pizza cutter and cut off a 1 – 2 inch long strip off the half of the pizza and proceeded to eat it. Maybe the boss was out, but it just doesn’t give a good impression when your employees are eating behind the counter. No one was wearing gloves.

Use to be great. Has been slipping lately. Most pizzas have been undercooked and cheese is half slid off the pizza when delivered.
Ordered pizza well done and picked it up myself 10 months later. Well done pizza still has zero browning of cheese on top FYI. Change to 4 star from 3.
A couple more orders, well done pizza not well done on top but burnt bottoms. Can’t even cut a pizza into 8 equalish slices. Down to 2 stars, never going again, probably changed owners or current owner doesn’t care anymore.

This place is highly recommend by locals but in find it very average.
I guess it is because ate there in winter outside and outside is included so no airflow and therefore pretty much like inside only colder. This false sense of security made me comfortable enough to eat there but made me crazy with worry afterwards, never will eat there outside again. I will say once covid is over I’ll give this place another try as the conditions were certainly not the best for me to give this place a fair shake.

Friendly service. Cheese steak is delicious. Fairly non-descript, sterile facility, although was quiet as most people seem to pick-up. Avoid the packs of mayonnaise as they are old – get it fresh from the counter.

Wow! NY Style Pizza joint!! I’m from NY, born and raised. Coming down to MD 3 years ago was tough when it came to food selection. Vitos Gourmet hits the nail on simplicity and keeping their identity. If you’re looking for a nice place to sit to dine in or receive a delivery of to the point, NY Style Food, look no further.
My suggestion:
Trying the pizza is a MUST. But, if you’re in the mood for a sub, try out their Cheesesteak or Chicken Cheesesteak!! Unbelievable for the price. Also, don’t ignore the specials they offer everyday.
