Super Greens, Grass-Fed Sous-Vide Steak, Grains, Roasted Potato,
Roasted Tomato, Radish, Chimichurri, Lemon Tahini Vinaigrette, Pepitas
I had the misfortune of dining at Vitality Bowls during my dinner break, and the experience was underwhelming. The menu was misleading, and the prices were inflated. My meal, which cost approximately $17, was a disappointment. The potatoes were unappetizing and lacked seasoning, while the meat was of poor quality and tasted off. Moreover, the dish was supposed to include roasted tomatoes, but they were conspicuously absent. According to the menu, the Chimichurri Steak and Roasted Potato Bowl should have come with Super Greens, Grass-Fed Sous-Vide Steak, Grains, Roasted Potato, Roasted Tomato, Radish, Chimichurri, Lemon Tahini Vinaigrette, and Pepitas. Regrettably, the actual dish failed to meet these expectations, with soggy radishes, insufficient chimichurri sauce, and a general lack of flavor. I was thoroughly disappointed and did not finish the meal.
The acai bowls are mostly vegetarian (honey and granola which usually has honey).
None of the salads or savory bowls were even vegetarian or vegan without modifying the order and paying the same price after removing the more expensive parts of the dish and most of the bulk. Even the vitality wrap, which at least didn’t come with meat by default, had to be modified for vegans. Avocado toast had cheese, which is totally unnecessary.
So, i got the vitality wrap. It tasted fine, but… the grains/ rice were either undercooked or had sat around and dehydrated because they were crunchy. The wrap was heated, which made the lettuce into mush. Just not impressed.
I don’t understand why you’d call yourself a health restaurant and not have at least 1 vegan option in each category, and could have optional meat/ dairy/ honey/ eggs added for extra $ like they did for only one item.
(I think that’s how you spell it) And the dragon smoothie it was delicious and good clean food! I got extra garlic sauce with the wrap. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!
