My family and I visited many restaurants during our stay in Guam, and this was by far our favorite. The atmosphere is spacious and homey, the food is delicious without being greasy (unlike some other places), and the staff are genuinely friendly. The owner even came out of the kitchen to talk with customers and check how everyone was enjoying the food. We’d happily come back.

Underwhelming experience overall. If you enjoy Italian food, I would recommend not coming here as nothing is authentic. Only giving it 3/5 stars due to the service and staff being extremely amazing, but that’s pretty much it. I had the Tour of Italy with garlic bread, and I have my personal take on everything: The chicken parm was soggy and overwhelmed with their sauce that didn’t have a particularly good taste, and the cheese was super rubbery. The lasagna was alright, and the only thing I was able to fully eat. The fettuccini alfredo was bland and are empty calories at this point. The garlic bread was not crispy and soggy by the time they served it. DO NOT TRY THEIR CARBONARA, that dish by the looks of it is not authentic in any way, shape, or form, and will ruin your image for what it’s supposed to be like as it’s one of my favorite Italian go-to dishes.

Food, pretty good I got the tour of Italy. Big portions but the super star here was the pretzel garlic bread that was amazing. Old chef in the back clearly knows how to throw down. Downside a canned soda is $4…. It’s whatever not a deal breaker.

Service no complaints here no pros either.

Atmosphere hot, they seated us 4 in an area where the A/C didn’t reach us. So that really frustrated me.

Lastly it was cheap $30 for all that food across from the galleria mall in Guam is a steal.

The tour of Italy meal was so much food! Definitely worth it for the variety. Their cannolli was amazing in flavor. Kings sub was meaty and cheesey. Yum! Service was quick. Excellent food. Definitely a friendly environment. Wine menu should not be missed as well.

This place is the best Italian restaurant on island! There is no second best compared to Vitaly’s home style cooking. The staff are incredibly friendly and the service is professional. what’s great about this place is that my stomach never hurts afterwards like it does when we go to Olive Garden. they also have a tour of Italy dish that is twice the portion size

One of my favorite spots since my high school days in the 90s. The thin crust pizza is delicious. The pasta dishes are delicious as well.

Been going here for years and Vitale’s never disappoints. Great quality and price, great customer service, and the location is always clean. Highly recommended ♡ [Pics from Oct 15]

This restaurant is wonderful. They have the best Lasanga on Guam, as far as I am concerned. With the layers of pasta and ricotta cheese, delicious sauce, and meatballs covered with cheese, makes for a delicious meal. And it comes with a roll of Italian garlic bread as well. What more can you ask for. We also had real iced tea. None of that flavored variety.

I think people like it for the portion sizes. Overall the food desperately needs seasoning and flavor. I’m not sure if they use marinara sauce instead of spaghetti sauce but everything needed more spices.

Calamari: bland, breading falls apart, served with ranch. Asked for lemon to give it some flavor.

Tour of Italy.
Fettuccine Alfredo: was bland not bad

Lasagna: way too many layers of pasta with hardly anything in between. A ton of sauce and cheese on top that needed seasoning.

Chicken parmigiana: barely edible. I had 2 bites and that was it. I didn’t take it home with me because there was no way to save it. I thought it was odd that it was already cut into slices. The chicken tasted weird and rubbery. I’m pretty sure it is fully cooked by being boiled. It tasted old/freezer burnt. It had zero seasoning. What breading was on there had no seasoning as well. Lots of sauce and cheese on top that again needed more seasoning.

I took the Alfredo and some of the sauce and cheese home and added spices and it was a lot better. The bread you get is pretty decent so maybe the sandwiches are better than the pasta.

They’re doing ingredient swaps on their pasta. I just had some pasta that claimed was filled with ricotta. Instead it tasted like they boiled sprinkled Kraft Parmesan cheese and added another cheese to make a paste and used that to fill the pasta. While still giving pea sized filling of “ricotta.”

The only way I knew is because if you ate the pasta it had this really grainy taste. Like REALLY grainy. Ricotta is super smooth so that already confused me. They’ve changed their carbonara almost 3 times already since past visits. Now it just tastes like straight up unseasoned half and half from Payless. Not even a hint of black pepper.

Either they have someone else cooking, or the one who took over for the owner doesn’t care for the food at all.

It might work for the tourists but people coming in from the mainland will definitely notice the lack of seasoning and how watery the tomato sauce is. Absolutely a disappointment considering how nice this place was.
