Came here with a group of friends and we received good service. We asked for extra cucumbers and she had brought extra out right when our banchans were running out. She was very attentive.

Originally, we were heading to the Annandale location but ended up here. This was my first time here and there is definitely a huge difference in taste. I got the spicy spicy seafood tofu soup and it came with a fair amount of seafood, two mussels and two shrimps. It was not very spicy like how I thought it would be and it tastes like there’s too much powder/ flakes and it’s not fully combined…. It also tasted bland so I poured the pancake dipping sauce into my soup. It felt like it needed some more salt to bring out flavors. We got two appetizers and the seafood pancake came out hot and crispy but not as chewy as I like mine. I also never seen it done with imitation crab but it wasn’t bad, just wish there more squid! The other dish was just okay I don’t know what it was called.

Overall, all the food is average but came out hot and hit what we were wanting.
The service was also good so the rating is not too low.

We got the galbi stone pot bibimbap and soon dubu galbi combo. Everything was flavorful and delicious, and the service was wonderful as well. The ladies working there were so warm and kind, and noticed whenever our different banchans were running low and refilled them before we could ask. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cozy, delicious meal.

One of the BEST restaurants in Nova period. The tofu soups are flavorful and the galbi bibimbap is the best I’ve ever had. The sides are great, with some of the best kimchi I’ve had. Everyone here is super nice AND the food is very affordable! We will be regular customers now.

I came back to this place recently after so many years. Tofu soup isn’t my top pick of food. I’m so pleasantly surprised this time because they serve hot bibimbap now, and it was one of the best I’ve had in DMV. The ajummas work fast and efficiently. The decor looks like there was some effort initially, but a little bit worn out over time. It’s still reasonably clean!

The tofu soup is the best in the area, too, according to the folks who ordered it in my group. I tried it and it’s alright, but again it’s not my thing. The bibimbap and kimchi alone I’d come back for. The kimchi here is so good. You could tell it’s made by someone who knows what she’s doing. It’s not too hard or too sour like the ones you can buy from Lotte. It’s spiced just right. The pickled veggies given here are also the best you can get. I know I’m hyping up the side dishes, but they are really that good. They definitely elevate the overall experience one notch up when I was already happy with the bibimbap and its crispy rice crust on the bottom!

If you’re wanting Korean hot soft tofu stew, this is the spot! You can do combo, seafood, vegetable versions and choose your level of spicy. Rice is cooked in these mini rice cooker that my mom’s been wanting (but you have to get from Korea). They then put hot water to make “nu-lung-gee”. Service is lovely (I’m now a regular so they know me). The spicy pork is also good and my brother likes the fried dumplings.

We came here on a cold rainy day and let me tell you. Eating a nice hot bowl of tofu soup is so soothing. The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. The quantities are also wonderfully sized.

The tofu soups come out HOT. Crack a nice raw egg in there and wait a second while eating some sides. The rice they serve is great. Get a spoonful of rice and some soup and dig in. This small shop also has great atmosphere and the service is wonderful.

Highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Korean tofu soups.

I’m not one to leave reviews, but I just had to. We ordered the beef intestine tofu soup along with the cold buckwheat noodles, and it was honestly so delicious, especially the buckwheat noodles; so refreshing on a hot summer day, that’s all I’m going to say. The visuals of the food speak for itself. Additionally, the servers were so attentive and kind, it made me feel welcomed, which added to my overall positive experience here. I’ve been to many Korean restaurants here in the DMV area, and if you’re looking for good Korean restaurant to eat at, I’d recommend this one.

This place has by far the best Korean food in the dmV area.

Service: Came in here on a busy Friday with a few of my friends and the servers got us seated in a timely manner. The server took our order and food came out quick. Also checked up on us regularly through out the entire time and asked us if everything was okay. The atmosphere of the restaurant has a cozy vibe to it and makes me feel comfortable.

Food: okay, now it’s time to get to the best part of our experience here. The food here is so amazing!!!! I got the beef and pork spicy tofu soup and it came out piping hot, looking nice and spicy. The soup had so much flavor and I’ve never been to a Korean restaurant with better tofu soup, PERIOD! Additionally, we got the fried dumplings and it came out perfectly crispy and was even better with the sauce they give you with it. The Galbi was also exceptional. So much flavor and the portion/price is nice compared to other places that charge an insane amount. The banchan was also very good, with my favorite being the kimchi.

This is by far my favorite Korean restaurant around my area and I’ll be taking my family and friends here often!!
