We love to sit on the deck overlooking the golf course for breakfast. The chicken fried steak and eggs Benedict are great meals. The waitresses have been great and prices reasonable.

We try to go here for breakfast and lunch at least once a week. We just had dinner last weekend and the new menu was better than before. The sirloin was well cooked, tender and a good value.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but when it’s a repetitive issue, I feel like it needs attention. My family and I have gone here on multiple occasions now trying to give this place another go, but we leave frustrated every single time. We had breakfast today, and while there were some very tasty things, others were very lackluster. I ordered my eggs over medium and received one egg that was definitely hard, and the other was very close to it. My soda was also completely flat. Another person with me ordered a steak and eggs breakfast with her steak medium rare, and it came closer to blue. Had these things been the only issues I wouldn’t be writing a review however it took at least 10-15 minutes for someone to approach our table to take a drink order then 15 minutes later when we still hadn’t received our drinks i asked another server to please remind our server that we hadn’t received our drinks yet still. 35 minutes after we were seated was when we received our drinks. It also took 35 minutes to receive our food. Our server was very sweet but severely lacked the training to give proper attention to her tables. With all of that being said, there was an automatic 20% gratuity added onto the 2 checks at the table because we were a party of six. While we are typically happy to do a 20% + tip, unfortunately, with the quality of service, we just didn’t feel it was appropriate. We observed multiple other tables having similar issues as well. I hope that this place comes back around one day, we would love to have more options in our little town, but as for now, we aren’t interested in coming back. * There seems to be 2 google pages for the restaurant so both are receiving the same review as they are obviously the same business

I had the avocado toast with bacon. Avocado, spinach, feta, grape tomatoes, bacon, 2 eggs (I had over easy), everything bagel seasoning and balsamic drizzle. Yum!!
Lauren, I believe she is the manager, was very nice and helped me decide between avocado toast and Eggs Benedict; which she said was also very good just a bigger portion. I want incredibly hungry. Thank you!

Stopped in with a friend for a quick drink and stayed for a second. The gal behind the bar knows what’s she’s doing. Our bloody Mary’s were amazing. We decided we needed a snack too and the specialty fries were memorable and crave worthy, though not ideal for my waistline.

Most of the food is decent. Don’t get the tostada though. It sits in a plate of water. Not sure why.
Went 3 times in one week because not many places to eat in this town. Lack of customer service skills seems to be common in this community. Staff here is slow and not very attentive. We didn’t complain, but the hostess blamed the establishment for this. Look… I get that you have issues at work. We all do, but I didn’t come here to listen to you air the dirty laundry. I came to eat. Those in charge need to get their own s%!+ together. Those not in charge need to be more professional.
Waiting for your check takes forever. Factor that extra time in. Funny part is, we paid in cash (large bill). The waitress brought back all 20’s and a 1. Typically we pay 15-20% tip, which would’ve been around 8 bucks or so, but we can’t easily tip you if you don’t bring back some smaller bills to tip with.
The waitress was nice and looked like she was struggling. So we didn’t want to leave her without tipping. Solution? We had to ask for change and continue waiting.
That’s just food serving 101. Bring back the change in a way that better insures you’ll get a tip.

We had a delightful lunch here. The dining room at this golf course has undergone a lot of changes in management over the years. As of October 2020, the last of them seems to be in the course of getting on its feet. I’m not sure the name ‘Vista Grill’ still applies. But this iteration has moved decidedly upscale. We found an imaginitive menu, high quality ingredients and conscientious preparation at a place that seems to be on track to become our new favorite local restaurant.

It may seem like your business isn’t wanted as it’s a golf club/course. Go on in and be pleasantly surprised at a casual, roomy setting. The food is enjoyable. Not the largest selection of items, though, not the largest restaurant. There is no grill or smoke from one. There is a back patio that provides views of the course and some seats inside have views, too.
