I recently moved to Iowa and have been on a quest for the BEST pizza in Iowa, someone mentioned to try Virtuoso’s in Omaha. Ordered the “Fat Tony” $33, a little pricey for a 16 inch pie, but was worth it. Pizza is topped with meatballs, pepperoni, ricotta cheese and a couple other flavorful ingredients. Coming from the pizza capital of the country, New Haven CT, I find it’s very hard to compare any pizza to New Haven, until now. This pizza was thin crust, sauce was just right, meatballs were awesome, all the ingredients blended together just right, reminded me of back home in New Haven.

Walked in to smiling faces and a warm greeting that immediately made us feel comfortable. We found a table and ordered our meal and after a few minutes of letting us get into our meal I’m guessing the owner came and made sure everyone and everything was good. Food was amazing and service to match. Great atmosphere and great people. Definitely recommend trying them out, you won’t be disappointed!

This pizza was absolutely delicious. First time I’ve ever had it. We placed an order and thought wow that’s expensive, but that’s because I underestimated the size of the 20″ pizza. One slice of was plenty filling, you could easily get 5-6 people on this. I definitely can’t wait to go back and tryout different things.

Be wary of the window service. My recent trip ordering takeout from the window was pretty disappointing, to be honest. First off, they handed me just one napkin for two slices of pizza – like, really? And then, they nearly gave our dessert to someone else. As if that wasn’t enough, they didn’t even have real to-go boxes – they handed me a flimsy plastic shopping bag for my leftover pizza. Overall, between the lack of basics, messed-up orders, and hit-or-miss service, I’d say give Virtuoso a pass. There are way better places to get your pizza fix without the headache.

Went to Virtuoso for lunch with a friend. We got the Hot Honey Pizza, it was incredible. Crunchy but still chewy crust bursting with flavor. The honey was the perfect balance to the salt and spicy flavors. You can tell love and care goes into each element of the pizza. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I could not recommend this pizzeria more, best pizza in Omaha!

Me and my family paid a visit tonight on a whim. We haven’t been in a year or so and popped in for a few slices ! The service was immaculate. We were immediately greeted and everyone was so kind and welcoming, even to our little ones! We grabbed a fresh fruit cup and an order of cannolis with our pizza – love that they are an option !! all of our food was so flavorful and delicious!! We tried the Bianca and the Drunken Mushroom. Highly recommend both!! The cannolis were such a nice treat, loved them and wish I had gotten another order. The fruit cup was a variety of seasonal fruits and they were all so fresh and ripe it was perfect for our littles. Overall had a great experience and loved our food. Happy bellies !

Hands down, best thin crust NY style pizza in Omaha. Owner is very nice and loves to chat. But the food is the star of the show. Great ingredients, awesome dough, super thin crunchy crust, not overly greasy mozza, and cupped pepperonis! A little on the pricey side for the slide, but for the great taste, it’s a pretty okay value. Will be back quite a few times again!

Stopped in with the family for the first time. Best pizza in a long time. Super Friendly staff. We ordered the 20in pepperoni pizza, baked Ziti with house made meatballs & Nutella canoli. This ginormous pie was the bomb, loaded with crispy cup pepperoni, perfect balance of sauce & cheese. Glass bottle Cokes were fun, too. Happy Bellies for all of us.
