This hidden gem is worth the visit. Old time hospitality with modern theme. In Taylorsville. The menu have a variety of choices that seem to fill your desired taste for the moment. Today I had chile Verde burrito, cheese enchilada, and taco. Plate #1 on that part of the menu. I could have chosen breakfast, lunch or dinner choices. I had Coca Cola, but they offer both Coke and Pepsi options. When I entered a sign says go ahead and seat yourself. Staff was great. I had to personally thank the chef for my meal. It was so good I finished it all. Including the rice and beans. It was crowded but not too noisy. I asked for hot sauce, but the food was perfect. I did not even use it. I enjoyed the quite singing of one of the staff who was happy and was working so hard and enjoying it as well. Wow, great food, great service, and a silent concert all at the same time. Virg’s is just the right place and in the right location. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

I hope your hungry. I was working next to this place so I decided to try it out. First off the front of the place is super cool looking and had no problem parking. Went inside and seated myself ( I like it). And the waitress was at the table in like 2 minutes. She was friendly. Ordered the pastrami burger and tater tots. The food got there in like 15 mins and the plate was heavy from the heavy portions. The burger was OUTSTANDING!!!!! I’ll be going here every chance I get. Thanks guys

Large portions at fair prices. Look at this 1 pound bacon cheeseburger. This could feed 2-3 people. Order two of them and ask for extra plates, your table will not leave hungry. Always come here before/after a movie. Great date location

It great when yo walk in and they say “sit anywhere you like.”
They are quick to take your order and they make substitutions without objections.
I had the pork chops and eggs. They were yummy.
It was nice and relaxing, no rush, and they don’t bring the check until you’re finished.
Service is good. They check regularly if you need anything and refill your drinks without having to be asked.
I have never left the restaurant hungry. Plenty of good food and I usually have to get a to go box.
I visit regularly and have enjoyed everything I have had from the huge ham steak to the burritos of fish and chips.

Virg’s is always great, reasonably priced small diner food! Best onion rings, and from their Mexican menu, delicious chimichangas, smiley face pancakes to Monte Christo French toast, everything I’ve ever eaten here has been delicious! Their usually pretty busy, so sometimes service can be a little slow, but the friendly, helpful staff tries to make up for it by being extra charming! I’ve never had a horrible experience here! Great place to eat anytime!

Overall 4*
SERVICE: They were slammed and it took a hotinuye to get our food, it wasn’t too long though. They did however take quite some time getting out tater tots and pancakes to us, which we all thought was backwards of how it should have been.
The server was very friendly and had to ask other staff questions about some dishes. They filled up out water consistently and were attentive to our needs.
FOOD:
We ordered a breakfast dish, a chicken/ham sandwich, and the 1-pound burger.
Breakfast dishes 5*: The breakfasts came out quick and we’re quickly devoured. They were large with cheese on the hash browns which they liked. The pancakes were the size of a plate!
Burger 2*: The burger came out next but not at all like ordered. It did look delicious though. We sent it back to be redone so it was edible by our picky eating friend. When they brought it back out, it looked like less meat, two small patties on the giant bun. The meat took up just over half the giant bun. We felt a bit cheated. We won’t be getting that again.
Chicken sandwich 4*: This came out last and looked absolutely delicious. They didn’t listen to her requests though and had toppings on it she specifically didn’t want. Luckily she was able to take them off and enjoy the sandwich.
Tots 3*: They took forever to come out and they were definitely and noticeable darker brown and overcooked. I love good tots and this time they were terrible compared to normal.
PRICE 4*: Overall the meals were in the $17-20 range and for the amount of food included, they’re priced just right.
RANDOM NOTE: As we were leaving, we saw a guy get a burrito the size of a log you’d burn in a fireplace. It was huge! When we come back, no 1lb burger for us again, rather we’ll try the giant burrito.

Been coming here for years, the service is exceptional by any of the waitresses we’ve had over the years and the food is always sooooooooooo delicious and the portions are just huge, always leave this place happy and full. Looking forward to Many more delicious meals from here. Highly recommended.

Great food, I wanted something specific and that is what I received. I am a bacon person and it was cooked perfectly and they did not use cheap salty bacon, eggs over easy, again perfectly cooked, and an English Muffin perfectly toasted. The waitress adjusted the order so not charged too much. The only not great thing was the bathroom, ick!
