Really cute and chill atmosphere here. Being seated can be a chaotic and lengthy process, but it is worth the wait. The staff are all very friendly & upbeat. My toddler really enjoyed himself there as well. All of the food was top-notch and we waited very little time to receive our food.

Yes, expect really long wait time during dinner and holidays! We had to wait 4 months to come back and eat, because the first time we came it was a 3 hour wait (Memorial Day Weekend)! It took us about 20 minutes to be seated, not bad.

It’s worth mentioning the seating isn’t indoors, so dress for the warm weather. I recommend the fried calamari; superb.

My husband and I stopped here on our trip through the USA from Canada. We had such a great experience. Angela our waitress was so amazing !!! Would for sure stop next time we are here.

We had the mahi mahi special, oysters and Snow White crab. All were very fresh

We love this place. It was nice to sit by the water and see the marina and the birds. The food and service were excellent. We would go back there again anytime.

We really enjoyed lunch at Virginia’s On the Bay. Nice atmosphere and great service. Our seafood was excellent. We had the fried sampler basket with black drum and the coconut shrimp platter. All delicious. Key lime pie to go so I can’t review that yet.

We went to Virginia’s on the Bay for date night, and it felt like something straight out of a romance movie — the kind where the main characters just happen to be hopelessly obsessed with each other.

We asked for patio seating and lucked into the most perfect spot. The Bay was shining, boats drifting in like they were making an entrance just for us, and the seagulls were out there living their dramatic little lives. It was the kind of view that makes you lean back, smile, and think, Yeah… this is our kind of night.

We started with the shrimp cocktail and tuna dip — both so fresh that Steph and I kept sharing those “okay this is AMAZING” looks. She got the Rum Runner and loved it. I ordered the Trixie Special, which was sweet, delicious, and so smooth I finished it way too fast. Zero warning that it had alcohol… which probably explains why I was feeling extra flirty and adorable. (Steph didn’t mind.)

We shared the Seafood Boil, and it was perfect — messy in the fun way, full of laughter, stealing bites from each other, and just enjoying being exactly where we were: together, relaxed, and happy.

Do yourself a favor and go. And when you do, ask for Jordan — he was the kind of waiter who somehow made the whole night flow even smoother.

Date-night approved. Couple-tested. Five stars from us.

I ordered the sampler plate with flounder, oysters, shrimp, and baked potato. It was absolutely the best food that we have eaten on the Island these last two weeks.
The service was perfect. Jordan took care of our table. The atmosphere was very relaxed with open air dining with a lovely view of the water and boats. The prices were as expected for very fresh seafood. My husband and I will definitely come back when we return to the coast.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

The entire experience can be described with one word “meh”

Bar food is what we got. Nothing special.

Staff was nice, but the food quality has a long way to go.

It’s more like a place to go for drinks & the atmosphere. The food was awful. Party of 8 everyone ordered something different. No pictures of food taken. No one finished their food, & no one wanted to-go boxes. We stared off with a few appetizers. The Calamari was not edible…. It was so rubbery we couldn’t take a bite of it. My crab cakes were soooo fishy. Nasty! Someone else had a seafood boil. Nothing in the seafood boil was freshly cooked. Very disappointing.
I forgot to add. We needed cups w/ lids for 2 kids & were told that would be an additional $3.99 each. Is that normal for that area? We were visiting from out of town.

I brought my employees down to the coast for a relaxing weekend of fishing and beach going. We wanted some good food on the water, so we put our name in for the 60 minute wait. It took a little longer than expected and I think that we were passed up and forgotten off the wait list. No problem. The place is awesome, and the waitress was very friendly. She was very busy but kept us taken care of. The food was not great. My steak was chewy and not served hot. The shrimp were chewy and overcooked. It wasn’t terrible food, but it was pretty disappointing. The place is great, but please step it up in food quality.

enjoyed the food and great location, plenty of parking. A little bit loud and the service ran a bit slow.
