Virginia Kitchen is always a win. The service is great. The food is solid. It is just a good old time family Diner. I’ve been here twice in the last 2 weeks for a reason. Both parties were 4 or more and the service didn’t lack. Depending on the time you go, you may have to wait up to 10 to 15 minutes. Minutes. Turn their tables over relatively quickly. Always call in advance if you have a large party to warn them.

Usually, I go here for breakfast because it’s the best in town. I recently with for lunch with my husband. We both had the Liver & Onions (I know I sound old, but I actually love L&O). Delicious meal. However, they could have left the bacon off. Just give me straight Liver & Onions with a delicious gravy. This was a large portion size, with green beans and mashed potatoes. Every bite was wonderful. Very filling meal!

place was very busy. got seated after a sort wait(maybe four minutes). getting my order in took a moment but not too long. food came quickly and was good. pirtion and price wete decent. did not like the texture of the biscuit. very weighty and fell apart when applying the jelly. all in all a good experience.

The food was bland. We all had to add salt to give it flavor, and the salt shaker just seemed to NOT do its job. So we kept shaking and shaking salt, trying to make flavor that never happened.
