This is a high volume place, with mediocre food and service. The prices are low, and the main benefit is that it is right off I-15 on the way to Las Vegas. I arrive around 6:30 on a Saturday, and there was a long line. I went to ask the cashier about the wait and she abruptly cut me off and told me to ask the host, who was surrounded by impatient diners and couldn’t have answered. After 25 minutes, I was seated at a table the host had to wipe down. The server came over quickly and took my order. Her accent made it difficult to understand and she was not at all welcoming or warm. She served a drink quickly (it was flat because it was pre-opened) and the silverware was not clean. I got a drink replacement from a very apologetic drink runner and eventually got clean silverware. The food came out 20 minutes later, and consisted of a tough/chewy NY strip steak ordered medium rare but cooked to medium well. The baked potato was room temp, and the salad had wilted greens. The rolls were straight from a food service or store. Overall, I’m disappointed. I’ve been here before with more of a 3.5 star experience. The main reason to dine here is convenience and price. The food and service are poor. The drink runner and host were the only folks that seemed to have any customer service training.

We stopped here while passing through town. We waited 15 minutes for a seat, which wasn’t bad. They had a lot of choices, Chinese, Mexican and American food. We ordered The Carne Asada tacos as and app and they were great! We then got the porterhouse special that is $19.99 and it was very good!!! Lastly the grilled chicken sandwhich and it was good as well! Our server became busy and supervisor stepped up to serve us. Great dinner!!!

I have been here twice and both times were great. I get the French Dip and Fries. My server, Cindy was professional each time. I’ll be back for another French Dip when I am in town.
It was almost too quiet with no music. Lol

I’m going with average. Not a lot of flavor, portions were decent and the ranch dressing wasn’t watered down.

We were staying in the hotel with friends and had dinner at Virgin River Cafe. We stood in line for maybe about 20 minutes or so. We were sat in a corner booth (table for 5) and the seat was a bit tight. We had to push the table out a bit to be more comfortable. Our server, Carlos, was very nice and attentive.
Food:
Salt & Pepper Pork Chop
Black Bean Shrimp
Porterhouse Steak
Hong Kong Crispy Noodle
My friend cut a piece of his Porterhouse Steak to taste and the pieces I had were delicious. Great seasoning and tender.
The Black & Bean Shrimp was ok. Not the best. The fried rice was also ok. I did however enjoy the noodles. I loved the sauce. The highlight of the night was the porkchop. I loved the lightly battered crispy chops. It was so good. I haven’t had a good salt & pepper pork chop like that in a while. Ill definitely return again.

I was very pleased with the Prime Rib meal here. The meat was real good and the baked potato was phenomenal. I added on a dinner salad and that was excellent as well. You can’t beat the price either.

We enjoy when we have a chance to stay at Virgin River Hotel/Casino. The food at the Virgin River Cafe, for us has always been really good. I don’t think we’ve had a bad or meh meal. We’ll be back tonight to try the 19.99 Porterhouse. Typically we do the Prime Rib or we get Salt and Pepper Calamari and Pork. Awesome. Pretty authentic taste of a Taiwanese flavor. If you sit in the back room it isn’t as Smokey smelling, when we get seated in front we ask to move to the back, I don’t want to smell people’s cigarettes while I’m eating. Most of the servers have been pretty good. We have had one or two that don’t seem to enjoy their work, but we also understand the industry can sometimes wear on the patience. If you’ve never been here; it’s worth a try.

You’ve got to try the Jalapeño poppers—they’re absolutely delicious! And the Deuce breakfast? It’s really fantastic! This place has quality as a hidden gem in the desert. Lovely staff.
