We chose Virgin Izakaya Bluewaters to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it turned out to be such a lovely experience. The atmosphere is cozy, relaxed, and intimate. It was perfect for a special night out. What really stood out was the service. The staff were incredibly accommodating and genuinely attentive. During dessert time, we asked if it was possible to transfer tables so we could have a better view, and they handled it with so much care and kindness. The whole team even came out together to surprise us and greet us when they brought the cake, which honestly made the moment feel extra special. The food was excellent, so good that we didn’t even manage to take photos. Everything we tried was delicious, but the chicken fried rice and miso crab especially stood out. Highly recommended. As a bonus, the location is amazing, perfect for watching the drone show, which added a magical touch to our evening. A beautiful place for celebrations, date nights, or simply enjoying great food with outstanding service. We’ll definitely be back.

With very limited time in Dubai, we chose to come back for a second visit instead of trying a new place — and that says everything.
The view of the drone show is simply amazing and creates a truly special atmosphere. The food was exceptionally delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The service deserves special mention: all the waiters were smiling, attentive, and genuinely took their time to make us feel welcome and cared for.
Unfortunately, due to time constraints, there was one dish on the menu we didn’t get a chance to try — which only gives us another reason to return. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Dubai.
Highly recommended.

The food is mediocre. The prices are atrocious. The authentic Japanese 居酒屋 atmosphere is all wrong. However the least expected dishes like eel rice of plain miso soup were surprisingly good.

Very disappointing experience at Virgin Izakaya Bluewater Bar, mainly due to extremely poor service. From the moment we arrived, the staff seemed uninterested and unorganized. The place was completely empty , we would like to sit in the terrace just to have drink and the hostess said they r not serving for the moment and the reason that there is no staff and downstairs they were plenty of staff standing doing nothing .
There was no sense of hospitality or professionalism, which is surprising given the location and reputation. A place like this should prioritize attentive and friendly service, but unfortunately, that was completely missing.
I wouldn’t recommend this bar unless major improvements are made in staff training and customer care.

The rolls and sushi were delicious, and the udon was excellent as well. We ended up ordering several times because everything was just that good.
We were very lucky to get a table on the second floor terrace highly recommend it! The view from there is amazing, especially during the drone show ✨

Great place for a dinner! Wonderfull atmosphere, really nice staff and great service. I took duck salad and salmon rice cake. Food was delicious! Cocktails were also very good. The one with coconut muss on top is my favourite
