We make French pastry! We make everything from scratch, in the old fashioned way. The owner is our pastry chef and our morning pastries are made with all butter,
We hand roll our croissant and hand knead our brioche. We put love into all that we do here and hope that you can taste the huge difference! We have been written up in local magazines such as northern Arizona mountain magazine, and Arizona highways for our cinnamon brioche rolls that we serve on Thursdays and Saturdays! we also make about six types of sandwiches and have delicious quiche! in the winter, we do pot pies and potatoes dauphinois❤️ Try us!!! Saturday 8a.m. to 2 p.m.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! The ladies that work here & the wonderful, sweet chef who creates the recipes & majority of the food – all these ladies are incredibly kind & lovely, so friendly & warm. The food here is the true essence of tasting love in your food!! The food itself is impeccable, flavorful, unique & the service is always speedy. Hands down, my favorite brunch spot in the Valley. So grateful it exists!! My favorite date spot for my husband and I. ALSO, one of the rare food spots in the whole Verde with a 4.9 rating, that alone tells you how amazing this gem is. Should be 5+ stars!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Violette’s Bakery sells a large variety of delicious baked goods out of an old train cart. The service was excellent and the baked goods were to die for. I tried several different items and they were all some of the best tasting baked goods I’ve ever had. 10/10 would recommend if visiting Clarkedale AZ.

This is a fun place to grab a bite of breakfast or brunch, or just a pastry or other food item because you want something freshly made and delicious.
It is set up in the cutest little caboose car, and I live all the bistro tables set up outside.
We ordered a caramel pecan cinnamon roll and a strawberry danish. And we sat outside at one of the tables and enjoyed the weather and the friendly people.

This place has always been awesome, but today was over the top. I arrived a few minutes after closing and the barista reopened the shop and made us iced lattes and plated up a blueberry crumble (delicious). What a kind gesture for what is now a customer for life…

Great views! Delicious breakfast, brunch and lunch. The atmosphere is absolutely fantastic. My absolute favorite spot in the Verde Valley and Sedona area.
The staff is super friendly and kind. The terrace is facing the sun and even on a cloudy day in winter – it feels nice and warm to sit outside. There’s also a covered area.
Every day there are different pastries (European and American). My only wish is that they were open 24/7 so i can pick up a little cake when i want one:)

Super friendly staff serving really delicious food! Love the quiche, the pumpkin waffle (oh my goodness! what a taste sensation!!) and the amazingly tasty fruit tart! Great little place for a yummy meal. You can stay there to enjoy your meal seated at one of their outdoor tables or even consider walking to nearby benches situated to look out over the valley towards Jerome. Very lovely!
UPDATE: +JMJ. Wednesday, 13 July 2022 Arrived this morning after 9 am and found them to be very busy with many of the tables (outdoor) full and a line of customers. This is such a blessing for the owner, Amber. She prepares phenomenal pastries and offers French cuisine (Croque Monsuier and Madame) which I have yet to try but am hopeful to do in the future. This morning’s yummy pastries ordered were 2 scones and one chocolate croissant. The pecan and brown sugar scone is the yummiest pastry I have ever eaten (even better than what I have eaten during a visit to the UK!) Buttery sweetness is melt in your mouth wonderful! Also, during this visit, I could hear what sounded like 1920s or 1930s music. Love it! Though I am not a crowd person, I will have to subdue my fears for another visit. If ever in old town Clarkdale, stop in for an amazing culinary experience. Blessings and Bon Appétit!
UPDATE: Wednesday 6 November 2024 Stopped to purchase pastries and a sandwich. Great service by ladies, very friendly. And, my sandwich was DELICIOUS! Lastly, the almond croissant was amazing! Surely, these will be served in the Heavenly Banquet!

This cute little bakery is located in a refurbished train car. You step inside and order at a glass counter, so there is no seating inside, but they have set up an area outside to sit. I had the best cinnamon roll of my life here (no picture because I ate it too fast), and the other options are delicious as well. I will definitely be returning everytime I’m in town.

Just visited this morning and I already want to go back. Very unexpected for an out of the way bakery in a small town, but the quality and attention to detail in their food are very prominent. I have specifically fallen in love with their blue matcha (gives me light floral and very mild sweet chai vibes), key lime scone (great light and crispy exterior, moist interior with a refreshing lime flavor that’s not too sweet), and quiche Lorraine (so smooth and creamy, almost like a high quality light ricotta texture). I need to try more of their items in the future, but am unfortunately visiting from out of state. Give them your money, they deserve it!

We were leaving Jerome and looking for a place for breakfast, and we found this jewel of a spot in downtown Clarkdale. Violette’s really majors on doing their best to present a French atmosphere and offers a variety of French inspired food. I had the “Frenchie” crepe and it was absolutely delicious. My wife had the “Famous Waffle Plate.” She was pleasantly surprised at how moist it was in the center and enjoyed the flavor of it. I all had their German Spice Cake and loved it (I’m a spice cake fan)! My wife enjoyed their Almond Croissant better than the waffle and said it was the best she ever had.
The seating is mostly outdoor with French inspired music and the day we went the weather was perfect. The staff was nice and friendly and we enjoyed it experience. I definitely recommend this place as a stop on your travel.
