We randomly found this amazing pizzeria in the tiny town of Viola while on our way to The Caverns. It is run by a family, and the pizza and garlic knots were delicious! The owner was super friendly. The atmosphere was cozy, and there was even a deck of mini UNO cards at each table to play while waiting. We live an hour away, but will definitely be back!

Garlic knots were real good, but the pizza wasn’t… it was great! I know pizza and this was very yummy. Crust was wonderful and the toppings were just right.

Viola’s Pizza really knows how to put together a fabulous, tasty pizza!! The margarita pizza had generous amounts of tomato and basil and the vegetable pizza was loaded with a variety of veggies. They are huge pizzas so come hungry! Thanks to Brian and the staff at Viola’s for an outstanding experience

All I can say is WOWWW! I have heard rave reviews about Viola’s Pizza, and I just had to see for myself. My fiance and I moved down here in May from Illinois; and no we don’t particularly like Chicago Style Pizza. We have been trying to find a pizza that checks all of the boxes, like our favorite place back home. After many failed attempts, even giving some places multiple chances; we finally found you guys tonight. Let me tell you, you’re pretty dang close to “back home”. The crust was crunchy but light, the sauce was tangy but not acidic, and the toppings were fresh and crisp. The staff were all wonderful, and (I believe) the owner made sure that every part of our meal was just how we ordered it. We will definitely be back again Violas Pizza. You guys made our night!

My son and family recently moved to TN and he brought home 2 of VPC’s pies. Omg … The taste was amazing and ingredients to notch. They would have to be to taste that good!! We will definitely get more on our next visit!

If we didn’t live 45 minutes away, we’d visit on a weekly basis! Rest assured, if you live that far (or even farther!) this tiny spot is worth every mile in a BIG way! You are welcomed warmly from the moment you walk in by the owner and you place your order at the register. He and his daughter run the front of the house and have a wonderfully efficient system that eliminates the need for waiters/waitresses. They are so friendly, helpful, and truly interested in making sure orders are perfect and enjoyed by all.

We came in yesterday with friends for their first time, so we ordered a number of things so they could try them all. Garlic knots were excellent: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and not drowned in garlic butter (like the chain restaurants tend to do!) Buffalo wings were the perfect level of heat and the meat fell right off the bones. We tried two of their seasonal pizzas, the Strollin Jim which was loaded with meat and delicious fresh basil and the Mexican Street Corn pizza which was perfectly created with all the right flavors… it was my favorite of the night! We also got a standard cheese pizza because their cheese is so flavorful it deserves to be appreciated on its own.

Finished it all off with a few scoops of their delicious ice cream… our group tried the blueberry cheesecake, blackberry, and caramel shipwreck — you cannot go wrong with any of those!!

Take a drive and don’t miss this yummy little gem in a charming little town!

First off, WOW!! This was my first experience and I came with my bestest friend. She lives this way. The initial entry atmosphere was nice. Calm, beautiful, and easy to read menu for quick ordering. Prices are a bit high but if you factor in all the locally grown ingredients, handmade dough, handmade ranch, AND handmade marinara, then you begin to understand. The owner is very friendly and never meets a stranger. The food was fresh and hot and DELICIOUS!! We got some ice cream after (right there in the store) and let me tall yall, GET IT!! It is made in Crossville, TN by Sunrise Dairy and I can’t begin to tell you how delicious it was. Super creamy and depending on what is available, for me it was Georgia Peach amongst others, the fruit is fresh and it tastes real. Not that fake Peach taste you get but fresh Peaches. So good. The portion for price is AMAZING!! For ice cream and food!!
Overall, if you love pizza and a great atmosphere and you just so happen to be in Viola, TN on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, stop in and grab you a good one! You’ll see all the attitude of the day just drift away!!

Alright so… when I read some of the raving reviews from this place, I thought many reviews were… a bit dramatic? Over the top? Extra?

Well… let me tell you… PUT this review in that category because it’s literally the best pizza I have ever had. Literally. In a town of 100 people…hosts the best pizza place I’ve ever been blessed to try!

Diners, drive-ins, and dives really needs to go here and film and put Viola’s pizza on the map because America is missing out!!!

Food:
We got the strolling Jim pizza w/out cheese (dairy restrictions) and holy Macintosh, people… LITERALLY SO GOOD! The perfect combination of sweet and salty and spicy. Like, what?! The dough! My husband and I couldn’t understand it! Thin, but pillowy, but thick in the crust?! Their homemade marinara is so incredibly tasty. I would recommend the strolling Jim!!
We also got the garlic knots and wings. I thought to myself, “I’m just gonna go all out on this food cause who knows the next time I’m going to be back in Viola, TN.” After eating this food? I’m making that two our trip for it! Believe me!
The garlic knots were so pillowy but crunchy and the perfect amount of garlic! The wings were falling off the bone. Their wing sauce was spicy but you just wanted to keep going despite your tongue burning. That good!!

Owners:
A family- run pizza place owned by the sweetest family! Truly some of the kindest people we have ever met. So hospitable and helpful!

The only thing I’m bummed about is that my husband woke me up out of my slumber last night to see if I wanted any leftovers at that moment and I said “no” thinking I would have some for breakfast… y’all this man ate it all! He said it was SO GOOD cold!!!

Easily the best pizza in all of Tennessee! It’s worth the drive for us! Amazing crust, quality toppings, and deliciously creative or as simple as you’d like. The service is wonderful – places like this don’t come around that often.
