This is THE Pizza I’ve been searching for in this area. I did take out. Great crust with a slight crunch on bottom, not soggy, not thick or thin…just right, ample toppings, the right ratio. Delicious. Super nice people. Menu looks good. I’ll be back.

We were in Chagrin Falls for a middle school sporting event and wanted to pick up something to eat before heading home. Looked online and chose Violante’s – didn’t want a chain and it sounded ‘authentic’ if that makes sense. As my GPS guided me there, I see packed parking lots. As I near – I realize it was for the restaurants on either side of Violante’s. I walk in to pick up my pizza and there is a decent-size dining area and not a soul inside eating. My heart sank…did I make a bad choice?! I can tell you this – NO, I DID NOT!!! Hands down the BEST pizza I have had in a long time. I may have to make my way to Chagrin Falls again – just to get this pizza!

Great food but now when you go to the restaurant the waitress has to check to see if it is ok to seat you no matter what time you arrive at the restaurant. I will not be returning as this is an insane policy. I called one time and the owner said he had eggplant and when I arrived they turned me away.

Didn’t even eat here but needed to say something about my experience with what I was exposed to.
I am a door dasher, I deliver food like Uber eats. I called in advance like I normally do to confirm they have gotten the order as well as ask what time it will be ready. The elderly woman on the phone kept misunderstanding them and as I keep trying to explain it her temper kept creeping out. She was very impatient towards the end. I asked her if she could go to the kitchen and ask what the progress is on the order and she said I would need to call Door Dash with that info, which makes no sense considering I’ve been there and she is literally 20 steps away from the kitchen and door dash isn’t the one making the food. Whatever. At the end she finally mutters that they usually say 30 minutes for the order to be ready. We hang up and I head over to pick it up.
I walk in the store and the elderly lady was very friendly, obviously because she didn’t realize I was the one she was 15 minutes ago very frustrated at. When I paid for the food, the chef felt it was necessary to come over to the table and say “heads up, the customer called and she was being a bitch” and at first I was taken aback because the customers don’t usually call the restaurant unless there was an error in their order or they need a substitution. I asked him to elaborate and he said “she called complaining that her food was late, so be careful and heads up when you go there.” The elderly woman nodded in agreement. I said whatever and left the store, quite puzzled as to the confidence of the workers (especially with a customer waiting to pay next to me. If I was a customer I would feel embarrassed hearing that I could be one of these customers they gossip about)
I left and was so confused. I get to the customers door and as I was about to walk away I asked if they had called the restaurant and they said no. I then realized that I was the “bitch” on the phone that they were complaining about. Never felt so angry in my life during this door dashing experience than with these workers. I hope someone from the restaurant reaches out to me so we can smooth this out.

AWESOME PIZZA and even better customer service. Owner is friendly and helpful when recommending a good pizza and this restaurant is a much better choice than your any of your typical “chain” places. Would recommend to anyone!

Why does no one go here? Their food is delicious!!! I love the chicken parm, mozz sticks, fresh bread.. great pizza.. very tasty red sauce and pasta.. I’m getting hungry for it writing this review.. I hope this place stays open forever.. the food is my favorite italian.

Love their pizza! Never ate inside the restaurant – only carry out. The only thing i do not like is that they do not deliver pizza which is why I rated service as poor. Worth picking it up though.
