I ordered a Floyds Floyds Deluxe Beer and was surprised at the large amount of beer I got for the cost. The beer was ice cold and tased great.
I ordered a Tennessee Whiskey Burger and my Wife Ordered 8 Hot wings with fries. Both of our dishes were flavorful and the portions were large.
Our server was incredibly nice and friendly. She recommended my wife the wings and she was definitely not wrong. She even got us a little bit of the “Bat out of hell” Sauce to try which is their spiciest.
The atmosphere was very casual and the walls were decorated with Rock n Roll memorabilia. Very relaxing place to sit back and have a couple beers with a delicious meal. Definitely recommend it to anyone in the area.
It came across as “unsettling” but I tried to dress it up as “eccentric with a flair for the whimsical.”
This was a Sunday lunch and wasn’t nearly filled to capacity as one would imagine it normally is during its usual lunchtime M-F crowd.
We were initially greeted with a “Seat Yourself” sign which honestly afforded me a pleasant distraction from the stare of the man who found me particularly interesting for whatever reasons. A mystery that perplexes me even now to this very day.
But, I digress…
Service was understandably slow. I only witnessed one server. Two would’ve been too many. God knows how many were operating on the other side of the veil…
She was very nice, though.
Food was deliciously scrumptious and well worth the price and wait!
I don’t know if I’ll ever be back, but the meal experience was a pleasant one and well deserving of your notice, full attention and appreciation.
The staff are always happy to see you, the food is always fresh and delicious. They have amazing weekday specials, they’ll cater your work luncheon…
Burgers, wings, apps, and salads. All phenomenal. Throw a dart at the menu, you’ll love whatever you get. And I always look forward to the menu changes, because I know there will be more phenomenal options to try.
Whether you’re meeting friends or going solo, it’s such a great place to eat and hang out. Do yourself a favor and check it out. Right in the heart of downtown Mishawaka.
Total time was 36 minutes before the owner, as shown in their response, called in to correct the issue. I was apologized to and told by the server she was new and of course, the owners reply about the blind spot is understandable. I won’t hold a singular lapse too heavily against anyone.
Now, on to the review! Because we aren’t just here to criticize!
The Wing Mac with White Cheddar Beer Cheese and BBQ is exquisite as always. I have occasionally been in when the wings were a little overdone but this time it was perfect.
I tried the loaded fries, though I find myself neutral on them. This was my first time ordering them, and I am particular about fries so all in all if someone enjoyed them they would be spectacular, just not my preferred kind.
The Jarritorita, a curious combination of margarita and soda, is… Interesting. I enjoy a heavier salt/tajin on the rim so the taste was underwhelming, but I attribute this to personal preference and not the drink having any failures. It was enjoyable for what it tries to do.
Photos included, with the exception of the Wing Mac which mysteriously was inhaled as soon as it reached the table.
-easy to read menu options> sent daughter to pick it up.
-food was delicious, exactly what you wanted it to taste like when ordering.
-prices were reasonable, and better yet that its a local establishment in our own neighborhood.
-we will eat there again, most likely will try dine in next time.
The beer selection has contracted quite a bit as well.
The lamb burger was removed…and added were loaded fries and mac and cheese with toppings. Big whoop.
We built our own sandwich this visit…my dining companion selected a fried chicken breast for he sandwich, i chose grilled….both were fairly tough and dry. Service was good…..the lone bartender somehow also served 3 tables in addition to ours…things arrived when they should and glasses were refilled and she was friendly and patient.
Value was somewhat low..at 70 plus dollars for 2 chicken sandwiches w fries and 4 beers was ok- of the sandwiches are great and they werent. I like vinyl but not enough to fall for it again.
