Rooted in good music, an expertly curated cocktail program, and a high-quality yet approachable food menu, VINYL delivers an experience that hits the right note every time. Consistently named one of the best bars in South End, VINYL is a place where nostalgia comes to life and good times are played at full volume. We’re not a dive bar, and we’re more relaxed than a club. VINYL is your friendly neighborhood restaurant and bar open seven days a week until 2am with resident DJs performing nightly starting at 8pm during the week and from noon to late night on the weekends.

Had an amazing night at Vinyl! The atmosphere is perfect for a date night — cozy lighting, great music at just the right volume, and a really welcoming vibe from the moment you walk in.
The drinks were top quality and well-balanced, and you can tell the bartenders know what they’re doing. We tried a waitress choice cocktails and was excellent. The presentation was on point too.
Service was friendly and attentive without being overwhelming, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and special. It’s the kind of place where you can actually talk, laugh, and enjoy each other’s company without shouting over loud music.
Phillycheesesteak and Vinyl burger awesome ,Definitely a great spot for a night out or a date. We’ll absolutely be coming back!

I was told this place has the best espresso martini in the city… and I had to see for myself.
As the self-proclaimed #1 fan of an Añejo Espresso Martini, I have high standards. I started with their regular espresso martini, and honestly… it was very good. Smooth, balanced, and well executed.
After that, I ordered the Añejo Espresso Martini
and that one was a total success.
(Richer, deeper, and absolutely worth it.)
Highly recommend if you’re an espresso martini lover.

Stopped by at Vinyl for brunch and it did not disappoint! There is a live DJ set to keep the vibe upbeat and the service was amazing. Adam went above and beyond to explain the menu offer recommendations as well as make unique drinks. Originally was planning on getting one each but we ended up trying two – three each given the different flavor profiles. We ordered the Mia, the Dr. Doo Dah, Shaken, as well as the Bidi Bidi Bom Bom and the Pretty fly for a Mai Thai. Adam gave us a whole breakdown of the drinks as well as which ones were new and how they vary by season. The hostess was also great and offered us additional recommendations. For food we ordered the hot honey chicken biscuit with a side of gravy and the ribeye roll ups and both recommendations were delicious. The biscuit was soft and the gravy on the side (additional add on I asked for) took the meal to the next level. Overall had a great experience and would recommend!

This was my 1st time going for a weekend brunch. Typically here for an evening out. This place never disappoints! Food and cocktails were delicious, service was excellent and the DJs are on point. Highly recommend!

Came with my cousins who were visiting from NY the day after Thanksgiving for a Christmas bar crawl we created. This was our first stop and it didn’t disappoint! The food was delicious (I had the vegan options which were tasty) as well as the drinks! I didn’t get our male bartender’s name but he along with Lauren were super helpful and friendly!

We went to Vinyl on Sunday morning for brunch and had such a wonderful experience! The food was amazing from start to finish. We started with the most delicious buttermilk pancakes I’ve had in Charlotte so far
The hot honey biscuit was also incredible, with the perfect balance of sweet heat and the biscuit was so good. The pork hash was another standout—the meat was so tender and paired perfectly with the flavors on the plate.
We also tried one of their cocktails, which was just delightful
