My first time there. It was okay and nothing bad. It was expensive for what it was. It just didn’t really appeal to me due to the smaller portions and higher costs. For example, I got the fish sandwich and it was just a frozen square fish patty. I got the platter for $3 more, and i got maybe two quarter cups of sides. I felt it was pricey.

I am not from the area but I got a chance to eat at this real family restaurant. They are few and far between these days. Good food at a good price. (No, it is not gourmet, it’s a diner after-all) Friendly service. Very clean. I completely enjoyed my chicken basket. If I am ever up this way again, I will be stopping to eat at Vints

This restaurant used to be good. We just had their Dandy boy. It has been downgraded. The meat was disgusting. The texture of the bun , was tough ,like it had been microwaved

An old establishment but still hot food!
I went for the famous chicken, yet a country fried steak (chicken fried?) was on special.
Challenge accepted, a multi state menu option.
Came with mashed potatoes and gravy, and coleslaw, both on styrofoam containers.
The “steak” tasted more like the styrofoam than steak, whatever it was, but the coleslaw, home made since the 70s at least was just as good always, and the mashed potatoes and gravy rivaled KFC in texture and taste! (Give me a straw)
So the steak, was more like the pork tenderloin ubiquitous in this state, and thin as the plate. Served with some heavy duty plastic utensils (look for them in the back of your to go container) .
Warm food, they cooked it fine, not the biggest or best country fried meat I have ever had.

Would be nice if they were open on a regular basis. Open this time but has been closed three times I went before! They have great chicken dinners! Mac and cheese could use a “re-vamp”. Bland tasting, maybe more cheese in the sauce.

I arrived at 10:45 a.m. this morning 15 minutes after open I ordered a double Dandy and two sides of fries $11.59 the worst money I’ve ever spent I’ve never had a lower grade hamburger meat Patty in my life from a restaurant it was so subpar I was not able to finish and threw it out to the birds as I was driving back to Cincinnati to continue my work day the french fries tasted like they were left over from last night and put under a heat lamp this morning they were terrible I have looked forward to stopping there for a long time I’m usually past there before they open and I could not be more disappointed and the easiest decision I can make today is that I will never go back there again that was a disgrace for the subpar hamburgers at McDonald’s serves across the street there’s no comparison to that awful hamburger that I had today
