The ‘you’ve earned a free side or desert on your next visit’ through the loyalty card on the app is a total scam, I tried to use the free item today, but the Thatched House said it wasn’t valid, although the card said it didn’t expire until July this year.

Pretty good meals. Always served hot and any faults are always rectified in professional and swift manner. They have a good loyal customer app giving discounts and benefits. Always able to get a table. Recommend chicken and avocado salad and also fish and chips. Good selection of drinks. Reasonably priced.

Food was amazing, service was polite and helpful, atmosphere was to be expected weekend before Christmas…however, 2 things let this all down, the first, it was over an hour and a half wait for our main course from arrival and secondly, tables were so close together my daughter couldn’t get her wheelchair out without having to ask other guests who were sitting down eating, to move and on arrival we had to move a sign which was half covering the ramp at the entrance, made accessibility blocked.
Can’t fault the food and staff, but need more staff and higher awareness for wheelchair users. (Added extra issues was the style of the tables means you can’t fully push a wheelchair under the table due to the centre leg)

Today was the coldest it’s ever been, when we’ve eaten there! The food was okay, but the gravey was very oily and separated on the plate (thank goodness I didn’t pour it all over)
