An absolute excellent experience. From the moment we walked in. Excellent customer service, Prompt, kind, attentive server. Service was fast, friendly and phenomenal. Food was delivered fast and delicious. Highly recommend!!!

Just wanted to throw in my two cents about this place! The food is consistently good, always a solid choice when you’re hungry. Seriously, the wait staff are absolutely fantastic, so friendly and helpful. They really make you feel welcome and taken care of, which is a big plus in my book. Honestly.
The only slight downside I’ve noticed is that the pick-up orders seem to take a while sometimes. It’s not a huge deal, but something they could potentially improve on. Overall, though, it’s a great spot with a great vibe. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you haven’t already!

This restaurant is ADA compliant. The servers Jamie and Debbie were amazing. I had a hankering for bacon and pancakes. Jamie was able to find me the best value. Much to my surprise, the maple flavored syrup came in a warm bottle. I also asked for honey. Both bottles were not sticky and the tops were cleaned. Coffee was good. Pancakes were a sweet batter, with plenty of whipped butter. Bacon and they were perfect. A little crispy, a little chewy juicy. The food came hot. And the servers stopped by to share personal stories. I would recommend this place if you would just like an old fashioned breakfast. It was good value. I would eat here again. Just good old fashioned cooking.

Let’s just start off to say I am not from Cottage Grove so I decided to give this restaurant a try I ordered the loaded hash browns. The waitress looked like she definitely did not want to be there or she was having a horrible day, I asked for an ice water it took her 5 to 10 minutes before I asked again and she said oh sorry I forgot. My food came to me it wasn’t cold it was on the warmish cold side but I was hungry so I still ate it I figured since it was just cooked it would have been hot but no the waitress did not grab the food for up to 5 minutes so it just sat there (yes i watched the whole time), she was in the little booth thing on her phone not paying attention to anyone the other people next to me also ask her for drinks and she forgot to bring drinks to them as well. When I finally got my food I got maybe a cup and a half of hash browns and a slice of toast for $17.00. I’m sorry but in my opinion that is outrageously priced for something that small especially with poor service and the restaurant not being in a cleanly manner. I definitely won’t recommend this restaurant to any of my friends or family

Great family restaurant with exceptional service and the food was great. I had a veggie omelette with a side of fruit instead of toast. The avocado was super fresh and veggies cooked to perfection. And the coffee … so good. They even went out of the way and brought me heavy cream. Hubby had chicken fried steak. If you’re on I-5 it’s a quick on and off.

Took my dad here for an early veterans day lunch. I liked the food and the coffee was good too. Our server was perfect. She never skipped a beat. Got everything we needed when we needed it. My dad and I have booth been short order cooks for 20+ years each. The food was cooked nicely and just what we were looking for. The lemon meringue pie was really good. Not to tart not to sweet. My girlfriend loved the chocolate cake I brought home too. Too many of these great mom and pop restaurants are going out of business taken over by corporate restaurants. I loved it here it felt like the restaurants me and my dad had worked in throughout our life time. Cozy and comfortable. Hot home-cooked food. Hot coffee and great service. Thanks guys for making it a nice veterans day lunch for my dad!

Cozy hometown restaurant right off I-5. I was greeted by a friendly staff upon entering and seated right away. The menu is good sized with a nice variety of food options. I had the BLT with a side of coleslaw and it was really good. The desert options are worth a look as well.

While driving down to zGold Beach, OR we decided to stop here for breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised by my breakfast hamlet choice. It was so delicious. The service was topnotch with no complaints. We also enjoyed the atmosphere of the old school looking restaurant.

New to town so we thought we’d try and find a family dining place for when we have family/friends come to visit. The place was clean and comfortable and the prices for dinner would have been ok if the food had been good. My fish was way overcooked and all our fried items were greasy. We might try it again for breakfast and see if that’s any better
