A Girl and Her Jeep
We visited for my birthday. We made reservations for a special private table by the bar. It was beautiful!! The cocktail selection is interesting and sophisticated, I chose The Pink Snap. We had yeast rolls with chipotle butter to start. They have a wide selection of a menu but also offer nightly specials. We chose the filet & mash from the menu and the duck breast with risotto special. The atmosphere was romantic and relaxing. Brandon did a wonderful job taking care of us. It was a great experience and we will be back!!

We went here for our Anniversary and we loved it. The crab cake appetizer was delicious with big chunks of tender crab. So good! My husband had the lamb chops that were cooked to perfection. So tender and juicy that you could cut it with a butter knife. I had the filet. So yummy and yes very tender. Their wine selection was pleasantly large and the server had many suggestions. We are definitely coming back and requesting the cute little booth in the bar.

Had a wonderful dinner. Vintage House is truly a fine dining experience, and, therefore, my review considers those implied expectations. I had the salmon and shrimp. It was very tasty. The salmon was a very ample serving that was slightly overcooked. The dish was served with a siding of sauce that gave flavor where there was little from the salmon. The sauce complimented the shrimp very nicely. I had the tuxedo profiterole for dessert. It was beautifully presented, yet the creme puff that was used to build the dessert was stale. Would I come back? Absolutely.

Used to like, Vintage House but last night was one of the most disappointing meals I have had in a very long time. I owned a VERY popular restaurant in Manhattan, NYC, for many years and was a well known restaurant critic. When you post Rigatoni with vodka sauce and serve tomato sauce, something’s not right. I’m an Italian man, born and raised in NY and have eaten in the finest restaurants, this is NOT one of them. During our entire meal our service person visited our table 3 times. Had I been critiquing , Vintage House , it would not have been positive.

The Oyster Rockefeller was cooked perfectly. The Blue Crab cakes and the Shrimp & Grits were flavorful and contrasted well with the roasted carrots and broccolini. The yeast rolls were “homemade perfection.” Our waiter Cole was new, but performed like a seasoned professional. Great atmosphere and staff. The food was extraordinary!!!

The food was great, the waitress was good, but the atmosphere was not desirable. If I want a bar atmosphere, I will go to a bar. There were 4 drunk patrons literally throwing drinks across the table and management did not ask them to leave.

From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted with a very pleasant smile, we enjoyed a cocktail before dinner until our table was ready, the interior was very elegant, and the seating was very unique. Our server was very knowledgeable and very professional, yet not too stuffy, we had a few giggles. Our meal was plated beautifully, like a piece of art, the portions were perfect, there was no lack of flavor and everything was seasoned to perfection. If you are looking for a superb dining experience, I highly recommend The Vintage House.
