But they said the butter was “real” from cows. NOT real butter . just oil is Bad for health.
Battered catfish tasted like dirty “fish tank”.
Shrimp was OK.
Onion rings tasted like they were rotten or something was off. Old onions?
Coleslaw was just like slime in a Styrofoam cup.
Basically the worst seafood tastes I’ve had. And I love seafood – typically.
I know catfish can be
a little bit “ fishy “tasting, but this was worse than just “fishy”.
I’ve never had to just stop eating.
I could not finish the onion rings or the catfish. Still hungry.
Plastic plastic. .
Plastic for the sauces.
plastic bag for the plastic forks.
And it’s not like the employees didn’t have time to maybe wash a couple utensils so just throwing away a bunch of plastic one time use.
The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The restaurant itself was very clean and had such a fun, lively atmosphere. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and we’ll definitely be back!
I got the F1 all day special starting at $12.99 with 2 pieces of fish and your choice of a side; fries, onion rings, veggies, or hush puppies.
I got catfish filets. Just fries? No i want a standard fish plate with fries, slaw, and hush puppies!
When a drink was added with tax $23.28!?
No lunch sizes or specials. They are handing our 10 percent off next lunch visit.
Food is okay, served fresh and hot. The catfish is standard pond cat. Slaw was a bit sweet. Hush puppies need a little work to reach true southern puppies, hint-cornmeal. Fries are fries.
Sweet tea just fine.
Price is what will turn off most local worker for lunch. Lunch specials or lunch sized meal menu could help.
Will I come for lunch again? Not likely. Way too expensive for lunches.
Would I recommend this place? Sure for a great evening out.
This is a hard location to draw people too. Edged against 316 and the Progress Center industrial area it is way off the beaten path except for workers in the area. Current benefitting from construction in the area that has increased traffic for detours.
