After traveling to Pittsburgh for a memorial service, I was ready to have a good glass of wine before catching my flight. What a treat this location was! Lovely, knowledgeable staff that provided just enough service. Their wine selections were well curated, and offered wines that I haven’t tried before, but will be buying in the future. I got the South African Chenin Blanc and it was just what I have been looking for at a great price. The flights are a great way to discover something new. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The five star goes to the staff (lady) who served us. She was extremely kind and helpful. She arranged corner table so we can work and enjoy the food.

This is as good as airport experience goes.
I got the sparkler celebration flight with the bubblies and vegetable antipasti.
The flight was excellent. I was surprised that the one from Mendoza was delicious and went well with the food.
The bay leaf wrap and grilled pepper were excellent among the antipasti.

This is ok with good service, but I expected better in a city the size of Pittsburgh. You could go to many other small cities and have better wine.
I had a flight of three truly forgettable white wines. And a cheese plate which was ok as a snack but not great. Maybe it is not enough for two people. I was alone.
Based on the low quality of the wine, I wouldn’t do it again. I paid $40 plus tip for a flight of three 2 oz pours, cheese plate and a small bottle of San Pellegrino.

Arrived at Pittsburgh Airport expecting we have to enjoy a glass of good wine, Unimpressed by the overpriced wine list the expensive leather bound wine directory with a few selection of wines so I just had to order the house white Chardonnay very disappointed, normally a house wine is of a high standard and can be reliable. Food was not available on the this day, Sadly, didn’t finish the wine and I pride myself on having a pretty good understanding of wine. They need to chop the game and be more accessible to more people.

Amber is incredible! I shared with her my desired tasting notes and she selected the PERFECT wine! She is knowledgeable and enjoyable to be around! And Vino Volo here never disappoints. It is always highlight of my travels when I stop here. Arrive early and get a seat at the bar or one of the cozy tables, and prepare to enjoy!

I left the Michael Simon place because it was eating salt. Vino volo took care of that easy. They have the standard wines but also others you wouldn’t try from the known wineries.
For example I went the opposite of my normal where I did the daou petite sirah instead of Cabernet Sauvignon and it was fantastic. So happy I came over here.
