Just trust me…try this restaurant! I picked this place from the internet for my daughter who was on vacation with her boyfriend. When she saw the front she wanted to go somewhere else, but she was pleasantly surprised to see the lovely interior. Service was outstanding. She said everything that came out just kept getting better and better. Wonderful bread, wine, calamari appetizer, entrees and desserts! I’m so glad my instincts were right on this one. Try it if you’re in the area!

Oh my goodness, this is the BEST Italian food I have ever had BY FAR. It might actually be the best food I’ve ever had, period. I stopped in based on reviews and I was not disappointed. Luckily I showed up on a night the phones and internet weren’t working, because people weren’t able to make reservations, there were tables open. I came back the next night and everything must have been working again because it was packed and no seats were available (yes it was that good that I wanted it a second night in a row)! So definitely make sure you make a reservation before you go. The bread is indescribably good, I’ve never tasted bread like this. The pasta I had was also delicious and the limoncello was the perfect after dinner drink. The service is outstanding, you are made to feel like family the second you walk in the door. This restaurant is a MUST if you are in Sarasota. For those that live in the area, I am so jealous that you get to eat here regularly! I will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Ciro – where do I even begin! Coming from the same part of Italy as Ciro I can surely say that this is 5 star authentic Italian cuisine. The dishes remind you of being home and are each delicately made with love and special care. Ciro was phenomenal. There’s no words to describe this place but it is surely the best there is. If you are in Siesta Key, please do not hesitate to dine in at Vino Vino. It is hands down the best Italian food in all of Florida, and I mean that. I cannot wait to visit next time we are back! Words can not express how much I love this place. I went yesterday and had the most amazing pasta of my entire life! The entire staff has such a passion for what they create and you will truly leave feeling like a part of the family. The bread was amazing. The pasta was to die for. The dancing and singing was beyond entertaining. This is truly Sarasota’s little hidden jewel. I’ll be coming back here soon with my family to celebrate all our life milestones. There’s no need to debate coming here. It is an absolute must-do for locals and tourist alike! 🙂

Don’t judge a book by its cover! This was such a hidden gem that is a must try Italian place in Sarasota. Vino vino is located in a strip mall which makes it super unassuming, but don’t be fooled by this! The owners are so sweet and welcoming and love to talk about the roots of their food and culture in Southern Italy. Ciro was fantastic — he recommended the most delicious wine to us (see photos), so much so that we ended up ordering two bottles. The food was well-paced and really felt like there was heart and soul behind each dish. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience here and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stray away from the overpriced tourist traps nearby!

The BEST Italian food in Sarasota. The food is unbelievably fresh and the flavors are so layered and amazing. The owner gives you the best dining experience, you feel like you are at a dear friend’s home and he is cooking with love just for you. I will bring all of my family and friends here frequently.
