This is a beautiful restaurant in a perfect setting, staff are attentive, friendly and welcoming however the food was average at best. Roast veg with cheese was peas, fine beans, carrots, a slice of polenta and 2 lumps of Brie like cheese. A bit different Pizza and tiramisu were passable.

Our hotel concierge recommended dinner here and made reservations for us. When we arrived, we walked in the front and it was completely dead, we thought “uh-oh” but then we walked to the back garden patio and it was packed and it’s absolutely beautiful out there and we understood why we needed reservations. Within about half an hour, the inside was pretty packed as well, so this is clearly a popular place.
The menu is the typical, Italian fare, but many styles and from everything we saw come out, it all looked pretty good. We started with their Buffalo Caprese Salad, which was great. It had very fresh and flavorful tomatoes. The cheese was great too! Since it was porcini season, the porcini with polenta was ordered and definitely enjoyed! I tried their Pasta with tomato sauce and meatballs. The meatballs were great! The sauce was perfectly seasoned and really good and the pasta was perfectly al dente!
Be sure to save room for dessert, they have nice offerings. Service was pretty good, friendly, and on-point. But the coziness of that back patio was incredible! Definitely give them a try!

Absolutely amazing! The service was wonderful, they checked in but did not harass, the back garden was just magical to sit in for dinner, and the food, unreal! We had the Greek salad to start and I am not a salad person, so flavourful I cleaned the bowl. Then I had the mama Rosa’s ravioli and my husband had the diavoli pizza, both incredible. To finish we had the berries and cream which was so rich and bright it was the best way to end the best meal. I was so full when I left but couldn’t stop eating since the flavours were so top tier. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect! The food was very delicious and the waiters were really kind.
There are many options to choose from – pizza, pasta, meat, fish and exquisite options for desert like tiramisu and sorbetto (we tried a bit of everything and didn’t leave anything left).

This place was incredible! The best we’ve had in Italy thus far! It was so good, we went twice in three days while in Venice. We tried a few different things – spinach ravioli, mashed potatoes, the mixed vegetables, the spaghetti w/meatballs. Everything was amazing! The staff was also all smiles and super friendly! HIGHLY recommend! 🙂

The waiters stand and shout at each other. There is no peace and quiet here. They are unbelievable. It looks great in the photographs, but the waiters stand shouting and laughing. They even FART with the volume. I raised my concerns and the waiters disappeared. It’s a disgusting experience. This is a disgusting place. I have the recordings. It’s that bad.

Door man is warm and inviting – great smile. Lovely back garden area to dine in. Everything else was underwhelming. Yesterday’s or possibly the day before thats dry bread, curdled carbonara that I would be embarrassed to put down in front of my family at supper. Having a 3€ coperto I expected fresh bread. Beer was good!

One of the nicest places to visit in Venice if you’re looking for a quiet and romantic ambiance, mellow music under a classy staircase. The food was great. We had spaghetti a la carbonara and the salmon appetizer was delicious. The dessert, uff delicious Creme a la amaretto. The service was great. Arbi took care of our table and made it fun. He took pictures and a video of us like if it was a romantic movie. We will definitely come back.

Probably would rate 4.5 if that was available. We dined there twice, first night had liver and onions on the recommendation of a lady at the table next to us, liver can be really difficult to cook, but this was superb! Wife had lasagna which was also very good. Second visit I had fried seafood which was OK , but really had too much calamari. Decent value for Venice.

What a great place to visit in Venice if you’re looking for a low-key dinner. Food and service were really good. Decent wine selection as well. We were impressed enough to visit twice during our stay in Venice.
