This place is amazing. Second time I’ve been here now and both times been brilliant. I never had a dessert last time and I did tonight and it was yummy. The most kind and caring staff in the world. Me and my partner went here last week to celebrate his 21st birthday. We were greeted so kindly the second we walked into the restaurant (despite being 5 minutes late to our booking) and brought to a lovely table. The young lady who served was so kind and polite and so was the young gentleman who brought us the bill. They sang happy birthday to my partner and even offered us a dessert on the house. Absolutely beautiful place and beautiful people. Thank you for making my partners birthday meal so incredibly special and lovely. The food was delicious and would definitely come back again!!

My husband and I had a fabulous meal at this independent Italian opposite the White Hart in Exeter.
The atmosphere was warm and convivial – everyone in the restaurant seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves.
The food was perfect. We ordered pasta dishes with a side salad to share, followed by authentic Italian puds.
The waiting staff seemed to glide effortlessly around the room attending to everyone’s needs without bluster. Our waitress, Amelia, was absolutely lovely.

Alright, this little place needs to be on everyone’s list when visiting Exeter and looking for a night out and great food. Perfect walking distance and the friendly service are a bonus. The real selling point is the food. It is wholesome and full of flavour. The interior looks amazing with its decor and feels warm and welcoming. I will be back to visit many mire times. Thank you so much to Vino for making such good food. You have set the bar high.

The food was excellent. Great flavours and well presented. Nice atmosphere. Just one small negative was that we felt we were being a little rushed after we finished our mains. We decided not to have dessert and it felt because of that they wanted us to leave quickly. We would still go back though as overall it was very good.

First time and we loved it. Relaxing and intimate atmosphere with good balance of sophistication and simplicity. Excellent menu. Excellent wine list. The service was just right, very polite and helpful without being over attentive. Food was delicious and promptly served. Excelent value for money. All-round 5 star in every aspect. We’ll be back!

When a restaurant decides to do simple, Italian classics they have to be really good and Vino did not disappoint! Each dish was really well prepared with fresh ingredients and strong, punchy flavours. We will be back to try more dishes soon!
