This place is amazing! I can not give this place enough stars. 100 out of 5!!! I called them to send food to a family during a time of bereavement. I live out of state so I was completely trusting them to help me out. To my surprise, Vinnie and his family went over and beyond. Vinny treated me like I was his family. I wanted to just hug the entire staff! The family who received the food were so appreciative and enjoyed it so much. They told me that Vinny’s is the best around, and that I chose well. They had no idea how kind and helpful Vinny was on top of providing delicious food! Please support this wonderful restaurant if you are in the sweet town of Chester! Thank you again Vinny!!

There are so many good things to say I do not know where to begin…
Our friends have been telling us for quite a while that we need to come to Vinny’s. We are so grateful to them for bringing us tonight.
From the moment you walk in the door you feel and smell the love in the food and the service. My husband felt like he just walked into his grandmother’s kitchen.
We had the calamari appetizer… excellent. My husband had the Eggplant & Chicken Parmesan… outstanding. Three of us had Pasta Florentina…excellent. The desserts were also outstandingly excellent… Italian Creme Cake, Lemon Creme Cake and Bananas Foster.
Everything was just WOW!!!!
Thank you Vinny for the love you put into your food. May God continue to bless you with your gift of excellent cooking.

I took my mother and father to Vinny’s Taste of Italy for the first time last Saturday evening, but it definitely won’t be the last time. We had a unique and pleasurable dining experience. We were welcomed as soon as we walked into the restaurant. It feels more like going home than a restaurant. The food was incredible, and the owners were so down to earth. I’ve never had such wonderful service and hospitality. We had several dishes of pasta and dessert as well. Everything is fresh and delicious. It feels and smells like you’re in Sicily with family.

Stopped in for lunch. Only ordered the mozzarella cheese sticks ($9 appetizer). They are frozen from US Foods and I was hoping for authentic fresh cut mozzarella battered and fried. However they were delicious mainly bc of the marinara sauce. I had to get more of that to finish them off. Sooo good.
You are supposed to make reservations for both lunch and supper but they weren’t busy and allowed me and another table to dine without reservations.

very nice food and nice people. You can tell they really take pride in cooking. We came in at 5 not knowing we needed reservations but we were able to be squeezed in. The food was so authentic and delicious best Italian food in South Carolina!

If ever a perfect place for a Christmas gathering…This is the one. Thanks for the wonderful, delightful food and atmosphere. Service was outstanding and the cook (Vinny) was awesome. Vinny enjoy the suspenders and sorry for leaving all the empty Christmas boxes. Have the most wonderful Holiday.

Oh em gee! My husband and I came here for the first time during my birthday weekend, and it was the BEST restaurant experience I’ve ever had in my life! I can’t say enough good things! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing, the service was so personal and absolutely amazing! We’ve been to so many restaurants that were given all this hype that disappointed us, but this totally lived up to the hype. We were so impressed. I can’t recommend this enough! We went there on Saturday we had to make reservations we were the only people there. We had the pasta it cost $31 a plate the pasta was okay but not worth $31. Not even enough pasta to bring home. Cost $100 for two people to eat lunch. We will not be going back.

Both of my son work hard 1 in military stationed in Japan went NC for training for a week and the 2nd was in Atlanta for work 18hrs for home . . Both drove multiple hours to meet in the middle to have dinner and see each other(knowing it was just for a short time). Finding this ace in the hole. Not knowing they needed a reservation and dress code. The staff was very understanding, and they had a great dinner together to soon head opposite directions. THANK YOU TO STAFF they had a great non forgettable meal! The food was great, and obviously, the service was amazing! God bless the USA . . So if possible please support a restaurant that makes exceptions for the military and believes in America.
