The inside has a clean and modern atmosphere. The food was incredible. Bread and oil came to the table right away and was delicious. For my entree I got the chicken and spinach cannelloni and it was SO good. We will be back.

My boss and I were looking for a local business to cater an event for us. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had placed our order with a short notice. Our order was quite large (1 pan of lasagna, 1 pan of chicken alfredo, 1 pan of salad and requested two dressings along with rolls and all of the odds and ends to go along with it). Vinny was very helpful and assured us that he would “take care of” us, and he absolutely came through on that promise. We had asked for a pick up time of 5 PM, which was not long after they opened for business that day. All of the staff we encountered were incredibly friendly and beyond helpful. Due to the pure volume of food, two staff members helped carry everything to the car and ensured that everything would be secure for the drive. The pans were all hot, the salad was fresh, and we had so much food that members of our own staff were AMAZED and eager to take home left-overs. Everything was delicious, down to the dinner rolls. We cannot thank Vinny and his staff enough for providing such an incredible meal and over all pleasant experience.

If you’re looking for a fantastic dining experience in Bay City, look no further than Vinny’s Pizzeria. We visited yesterday, and despite already being pretty familiar with the area, we were on the hunt for a spot that would satisfy everyone in our party. Vinny’s stood out not just for its extensive pizza selection but also for its variety of other dishes and fresh salads. Safe to say, we made the right choice.
Accommodating and Inclusive Dining
One of the biggest surprises (and wins) of the night was how well Vinny’s handled dietary restrictions. My wife has a severe onion and garlic allergy, and for an Italian restaurant to navigate that so effortlessly is nothing short of impressive. Their base pizza sauces are completely onion- and garlic-free, which made customizing her meal a breeze. They worked with us to ensure she could still enjoy a great pizza without compromise—something that’s incredibly rare in Italian cuisine.
Food That Exceeds Expectations
I went with the Hawaiian pizza, and let me tell you—this wasn’t your standard ham-and-pineapple situation. The hot honey drizzle took it to another level, adding a perfect sweet-heat balance that made each bite even better. My wife built her own pizza, crafting it exactly how she wanted, and it came out cooked to perfection.
Someone else in our group ordered the fried mozzarella, and I fully expected a typical plate of mozzarella sticks. I was wrong. What arrived was something much better—crispy, gooey, and packed with flavor. This wasn’t just a bar-style app; it was twice as good as expected.
One of the best surprises of the night? Their Sunday special—buy one pizza at full price, get the second at half off. With all the food we ordered, we walked out completely satisfied and with a surprisingly low bill.
Ambiance, Service & Extras
From the moment we walked in, everything went smoothly. The decor was welcoming, and we were seated quickly. One small but notable touch—complimentary bread and dipping oils were brought to the table, and unlike a lot of places that serve generic oil, this one was actually good.
The service was stellar—attentive, friendly, and patient, even with our allergy requests. They made us feel welcomed rather than like an inconvenience, which speaks volumes about the staff’s professionalism and hospitality.
Final Thoughts & Pro Tip
If you’re in Bay City, Vinny’s Pizzeria is a must-visit. It’s got a great mix of classic Italian flavors, thoughtful service, and budget-friendly specials that make for a top-notch dining experience. One tip—check their weekly specials! It looks like they have different deals running every day, so a little planning can make your visit even better.
Will we be back? Absolutely

Vinny is the best kept secret in Bay City. Their Italian menu is top notch, including the spaghetti and meatballs, which is my go-to meal. It’s not just the food, it’s backed with excellent service, nice quiet atmosphere, and reasonably priced. Put Vinny’s on
your short list of restaurants to visit in Bay City.

We went and grabbed dinner on a date/Christmas shopping night. We ordered a calamari appetizer, a pizza and a plate of Tuscan chicken. It was pretty busy in there service was pretty good. My issues were with the food. The appetizer came out and looked very blonde/under fried for a deep fried appetizer. You could tell it was frozen by the texture, it was VERY chewy and just not good. My fiancé’s pizza looked decent, but wasn’t fully baked, the underside was really light while the crust was borderline burnt. The pizza did not look anything like the pizzas on the tv monitors on the wall. The crust on those had a good color and had a pretty bubbly crust this wasn’t it, it was a dense crust like it had been kept too cold and didn’t have enough time to rise and bubble. Now my meal was the Tuscan chicken, again another mid meal. The chicken was cooked decent, but the garlic sauce was broke by the time it got to the table it was an oil pool, the potatoes were not hot but luke warm like they had been cooked a head of time and nuked in the microwave. It needed more seasoning as well. Overall for the price of the meal, I’d skip this one, I’ve had better wood fired pizza in other places.

Stopped in for some Italian comfort food and left with a mild back injury. Drinks are priced higher than my inflated food critic ego, but hey — they were good. I got the chicken Parmesan, my wife went for the Alfredo, and the free bread alone could’ve fed a small village. Think Olive Garden’s “unlimited” deal, minus the awkward waiter hovering.
The atmosphere? Loud enough to make a jet engine blush. The live music — or should I say musician — was… passionate, if not exactly pitch-perfect. To top it off, the booths and tables weren’t bolted down, so every time the guy behind me (built like a redneck John Cena) leaned in, I had to brace for impact. Pretty sure we were in a silent strength competition by dessert.
4/5 stars. Great food, wild energy, and an unplanned core workout.

The service here was excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful. The food was a little pricey for what was delivered. I wasn’t overly excited about the meal I ordered. Other than that the place is really nice looking on the inside and they don’t take a long time to get you your meal.

Oh this was such a nice surprise tucked away in the corner of Bay City. I am Celiac so I needed gluten free food. The food was amazing, my boyfriend had the spaghetti and meatballs (not gf) and I had a specialty pizza. There was live music, an inviting atmosphere and the most invigorating smells. The waitstaff was pleasant. Sure will be returning. ❤️
