The food was tremendous, however, the service was not. It was crowded and loud, the typical “Friday night” environment. However, as opposed to other restaurants that would have handled a rush with more consideration and attention, this location of Vinny’s did not. We were first given a wet table to sit at, with one pair of silverware for two people to dine. Our server seemed rushed, impersonal, and inattentive to not only our table, but others as well, from my observation of what surrounded me. We received our waters and had our order taken so fast we could hardly process what was happening, and pretty much never saw our server, “Leslie” (?) again. Our pizza was flown out to the table by the food runner, practically tossed on the table with zero consideration for if we needed anything else with our food. Our server also visited tables near the center of the restaurant, holding what I presume to be a customer’s baby, and gave them more attention than any other table combined. Inappropriate. No hand washing or anything. When I approached what seems to have been a “manager”, I politely described my experience, with a return of zero respect. I was given rude facial expressions and was not even offered so much as an apology. I got a foul-toned “Ok”, and she turned around and flew back into the kitchen. Now I understand how Friday nights in food service can be, I work in food service myself. However, this was incredibly disappointing, especially for a restaurant I have loved for years! Please consider equipping your servers with more hospitality and attentiveness. I reinstate, the food was tremendous, the service was embarrassing.

Have loved Vinny’s for a while, especially their Philly Steaks. Sadly they haven’t been as good lately. We got the Cheese Lover’s yesterday. The steak was pretty dry and there was a disappointing amount of cheese. Instead of being mixed in with the steak, there was just a couple slices laid right on top of the already closed sandwich.
That said, the wings were good as always and the service was quick and pleasant. Hope to see the food quality bounce back.

I’m not sure how I’ve driven by this so many times without noticing it, but I’m glad I stopped in. I saw some of the reviews raving about the Stromboli and the antipasto salad and they were both amazing.
Was greeted when I can’t in and they were very helpful with the menu, far service and this was a small Stromboli! So good

Been coming almost weekly until the remodel. Came tonight and ordered pizza slices and, unfortunately, thought we were at Little Vinny’s. We ordered pizza from Little Vinny’s soon after it opened snd never returned. The pizza lacks flavor and crust and I’m thinking it tastes like Anna’s in Poquoson: terrible! My sub came very fast but the pizza took awhile. In hindsight, I wished I never ordered it! I have loved everything about Vinny’s on Oyster Point until now!

Glad I stopped in for lunch! I ordered two slices of the Sicilian pepperoni and cheese. The pizza, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding! I highly recommend this restaurant and am looking forward to coming back!

Normally amazing pizza, fresh and hot. I was told to wait 10 minutes, and the pizza was warm. Cheese was already solid again, no stretch, and flavor was nothing to write home about. Kinda disappointed for what I’m used to.

Visiting from Oregon, we found this place quaint, authentic, very enjoyable, and the food was wonderful. The locals know! And I have to say the service was perfect.

Amazing service, food, my waitress was great super helpful and on top of everything. I always come back for more. This time I went to this location and it’s no different than the other locations. Every time I want anything Italian Vinny is the place to go! 10/10 recommend.

We have been ordering pizza from Vinny’s since it had opened at their Jefferson location. On occasion, the pan pizzas had been a little over-cooked but were still good. Opened our Hawaiian Pan Pizza once we got home to discover that it was severely burnt, even though when it was ordered we stated to be sure not to burn it. A call was made and they had either offered to give credit or make another. Since we were hungry, we had another made. When I had taken the burnt pizza back, the manager started to explain that some times it is difficult in telling monitoring a pan pizza and that they had been really busy. Then she asked if we have ever ordered from them which she was told we exclusively only order from them the past 2-3 years. I pointed out that the pizza should have never even left the building once it was seen when boxing it. Then the manager decided to look at it and agreed, which I am sure was a response to coddle the customer. I am very disappointed that the management didn’t try to compensate for the inconvenience of having to make two trips and delay our meal for their lack of quality control. We love their pizza and will at some point return, but not with the confidence that we are getting the best pizza in town. A recommendation is to make sure you look at your take-out before driving off, I know I will. Especially when ordering a $23 pizza.
