This place brings the heat. If you are going to Coki or are staying at Margaritaville hit this guy up. He also said he delivers to Margaritaville. Check photos for his flyer. We ordered curry chicken with peas and rice and Mac and cheese. Absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. Got a passion fruit drink which was awesome!!! Use the Alvin’s hot sauce!

The best food on the island so far. We stumbled across this gem 3 years ago and came back and it just as good as we remembered. The food or full of flavor, jerk chicken being the best according to friends and family, stew chicken and curried chicken close second then the oxtail and bbq. The rice and peas are the most flavorful with mac and cheese. Natural juices that you can only find there. They have plenty of vegetarian options. Some out door seating well shaded. Vinny is pleasant and charming. This is a Caribbean food truck the food wait time is such. Of waiting is not your thing you can alway call ahead or text your order. Vegan options as well

We missed the food festival during Carnival, so we wanted to make sure to try some of the local food before our trip was over. We stopped here after going to Coral World. We got ribs, BBQ chicken, jerk chicken, and pork chops, with potato salad and rice & peas. The flavors were delicious and savory. The meat was “falling-off-the-bone tender”. This is a hidden gem to those who don’t live on St Thomas. Mr. Perez was very welcoming to us.

Vinny charged us 60 dollars for two plates of food (stewed chicken and jerk chicken) and two drinks (lemongrass and some sort of punch juice) after he learned we were from NYC. I think he thought we didn’t know he was up charging us, but we kept calm and kept it pushing after paying. Do what you will with this price info and you tell me if you think that’s a fair price (minimal meat in the stewed chicken as well).
He doesn’t put prices on the actual menu so ask in advance for cost.

You need to stop here. Vinny is an amazing person and an even more amazing chef. The barbecue chicken is out of this world tender and delicious. Plate was packed full of food, rice and beans, Mac and cheese, and a massive serving of chicken made fresh to order. There’s a reason Vinny is consistently rated as one of the best on the island. He knows his way around good food.

They got everything from very typical island food like seafood pasta, mac and cheese, jerk chicken, bbq chicken to exotic food like goat curry. Wish i could give more than 5 stars. I had goat curry with mac and cheese and rice and my girlfriend had jerk chicken with mac and cheese and potato salad. All food were Super juicy and flavorful. Best food we had during our whole week stay in VI. Definitely returning back!!

Great food and great conversation. Vinny quite pleasant guy from NYC. But he is making authentic Caribbean food. We had such good food from ribs with Mac & cheese and maduros. To the jerk chicken and sweet potato also Curry chicken . The drink’s are all homemade. We had the sorrel which has robust flavor. The ginger beer is mild not fizzy or carbonated. The passion fruit is amazing so much flavor your taste buds will be in heaven. Definitely worth it to visit. Only Cash accepted.

Some of the best food we have had came from this amazing man’s hands out of a roadside truck. You must make this a stop during your visit to the island. The jerk chicken is seasoned the right way. The sides were plentiful and delicious. Vinny is the real deal and we are blessed to have discovered him.
