Went here several years ago and the pizza, boxing and Hoboken, NJ memorabilia and North Jersey attitude was fun and delicious.
It felt as if you were in an urban north Jersey pizzeria.
The was very good (an 8.2) excellent for Mew England.
Today I went in and immediately I knew something was up. A fair amount of the Boxing memorabilia was gone and some very polite young adults were at the counter.
I ordered two pepperoni slices and an orange soda.
As soon as they presented me with the pizza I could tell something has changed.
They were thick slices and the bottom of the pie looked pressed due to the narrow triangles throughout the pie.
The dough tasted like dough cardboard and had no crisp. The sauce was good but the mozzarella was flavourless.
I was disappointed. It now at best ranks a 4.8.

Ordered a medium hamburger , mushroom, onion & pepper with cheese and red sauce. No flavor and very little as far as toppings. At $2.99 per topping they should not skimp. I should have opened the box when I picked it up but was in a hurry. I did call back and the girl who answered was pleasant but I feel that is as far as the input would go. This is our second time since Vinnies reopened and they have a long ways to go to make the original Vinnies proud.

We got takeout here instead of sals and I figured that since its been open for a million years it would be pretty good but nope. The crust tastes like stale cardboard, the pizza has way too much sauce and overall the pizza tastes terrible. Unsure how they are still open.

Stopped in for lunch the other day. Had to park on the street. They offer a variety of Italian foods…. pizzas, sandwiches and more, as well as soft drinks and limited selection of beer. We enjoyed a medium pizza with three toppings, a small Greek salad, and a couple soft drinks. Salad was crisp and fresh. Pizza came out hot and had a crunchy, chewy crust. Pizza was delicious and plenty for us two. They make their own desserts (cookies). Service is friendly and prompt. Prices are moderate.

I wrote this place off as the worst pizza place in town after the first time I tried it. Last year I was given a gift card, and tried it twice more. Easily, the last place I would pay for food in Concord, NH. Quality is low and inconsistent. Meaning thinga like sometimes the crust is almost burnt and flat, other times its an inch and a half thick. Service is your classic teenager who hates their job. I’m guessing this place used to be good, and the only reason its still around is because of that. There are MUCH better places to go. Can’t wait to see what replaces this store!

I just ordered a pizza tonight and it arrived totally burnt and inedible. I spent a lot of money for a treat and what I got was complete garbage. Whomever pulled this out of the oven had to see the condition of the crust and chose to serve it anyway. This used to be my favorite pizza place, so disappointing. I don’t think I’ll ever risk it there again.

Went back here after I heard they reopened to try it again. I always liked the place and wanted to make sure it was still a good choice. I was not disappointed I believe they had a brick oven before now they just have normal but still really good.

Pizza 16 inch cheese

Crust: Crisp slight crunch well cooked

Flop: light flop bottom still crispy

Grease: somewhat greasy but good. However more than before.

Ingredients: Good quality and sufficient you still taste the slight garlic but less than before.

Sauce: Evenly and well sauced tasted good not too sweet more salty like another review said but good

1 to 10 Pizza rating: 7.5 great would go again especially if in area

Was glad to see Vinnie’s back open after being closed for quite a long time. Went simple with a cheese pizza (how I judge a first slice from a new place) and it was OK. The sauce was a little on the sweet side and tasted nice. The crust wasn’t bad – close to a Greek texture but a little more chewy. The cheese was thick and way too greasy for me though. I picked up a slice and held it vertical to my plate and just watched the grease drip off. I dabbed most of the rest off with several napkins but still got my hands covered in the stuff. I am hoping this was a one-off issue and not the norm so will be sure to try again.

On a 1-10 scale I’d give this pizza about a 6 to a 6.5.

Atmosphere is fine – cleaned up from previous owners but typical hole-in-the-wall experience (nothing wrong about that and feels like an old school pizza joint). Handful of tables and chairs to dine-in.

This was my first order from Vinnies since the new management took over. It was great! The best pizza in the Concord area (and I have tried them all)! Thank you!

I had had pizza from Vinny’s when the original owner was there. It was awesome. Was bummed out when it closed. Was happy to hear that it reopened and looked forward to trying it out. Tried once a few months ago. Wasn’t awesome, but wasn’t terrible either. I decided to try it again Friday night. I hate to say this but it was the worst pizza I ever had in my life. I hope that these people take a good hard look at the pizzas they are serving and make some major improvements.
