The waiter was kind and accommodating, provided thoughtful recommendations for wine and food. I enjoyed the Apple date salad, sommelier’s flight and the salmon.
And the food, is on point every time. They have boards, salads and appetizers that suit a modern elevated palette. Citrus Salmon Poke to start is our favorite!
They have entrees and some really good desserts like a toffee pudding that brings us back!
Thank you for taking care of us for years!
A week before our reservation, we received a call informing us that the evening had been converted to a mandatory prix fixe menu at $75 per person, with cancellation as the only alternative. When I politely asked whether we could do what we had done in years past—enjoy drinks and dessert at our table and tip generously—I was curtly told no. The only option was to sit for the full prix fixe, or relinquish the reservation entirely and stand at the bar.
Many restaurants implement special Valentine’s menus. The difference is transparency. Retroactively changing the terms of a reservation and presenting it as non-negotiable feels less like hospitality and more like a bait-and-switch. Calling guests days before Valentine’s Day to inform them they’re now “forced” into an experience they neither requested nor reserved is simply tacky.
If you want to be regarded as a high-end establishment, the standard should extend beyond the menu—to communication, courtesy, and respect for your guests..
Also: When I have eaten here, it’s been pretty overpriced and the atmosphere is cold. Usually that’s not worth a review, but I’ll go ahead and mention it since they felt the need to be rude.
Carlos was absolutely amazing! He gave thoughtful recommendations that made our whole dining experience even better. As a wine lover, I really appreciated how knowledgeable he was. He paired everything perfectly and explained it in such a friendly, approachable way.
Thanks for a great experience! Will be back for sure
Our waiter was super nice, explained the whole menu, let us sample 2 wines, made a excellent cheese choice for us, and was very attentive while not being overly so.
The atmosphere was cozy even when it started to get busy.
The food was amazing!!
The drinks were so good!
I brought my out-of-town friend here since my first visit was so great. BUT, this second time had some hiccups.
First, the positive: Tristan was very accommodating when I called to say we were running behind. Our server (can’t recall her name, but she’s the young, blonde lady) was great both times I had her. She was knowledgeable about the wine and made some great recommendations. The food is always delicious and perfectly cooked. My favorite is the Tri-tip risotto and the scallops. Well-balanced on flavor, rich, and good-sized portions for the entrees.
Now, the needed improvements: whoever the dark-haired female hostess is needs an attitude adjustment. Upon arriving, my friends and I said hello, and she was stone-faced the entire time, very cold and unwelcoming. She then tried to sit us at a table that was crammed into a corner, and tried to take chairs from a neighboring table that was already sat with patrons. They were expecting more guests and told her to not take the chair. Frustrated, she just turned around and put us at a table that wasn’t ideal for our party. We agreed to sit there anyway, even though there was plenty of other open seating. Second, the charcuterie board my friend custom-ordered was dismal with the servings of cheeses and meats. There was plenty of bread and crackers, but only three pieces of prosciutto and 9 pieces of salami. There were four of us eating, and it didn’t go far at all. We did still order salad and entrees, but for the amount of money we spent, it didn’t justify what we received in apps.
Overall, I still like this place, mainly because of the atmosphere and the adorable food server we had.
Will try again.

I came to this restaurant with a friend of mine on a Wednesday. It was very slow, which was great for us, because the service was outstanding!
We decided to order the grilled artichoke appetizer, and also the baked Brie with fig. We requested gluten free bread, to which they accommodated nicely. The lemon butter, on the artichoke appetizer was rich and tangy, and the artichoke was perfectly cooked. The brie and fig with bread was absolutely delicious! They both were so good, I forgot to take pics of them, oops!
We ordered the Obsidian Cabernet Sauvignon, and it paired well with everything.
For dinner I ordered the Tagliatelle Frutti Di Mare. It had generous servings of scallops, shrimp, squid, in a light sauce with perfectly cooked house-made pasta. My friend orders the short rib risotto, which was divine! Rich flavors and extra tender meat made this dish an absolute favorite.
Finally, the pumpkin spice cheesecake for dessert was a terrific final touch. It was light, fluffy, and gluten free.
The atmosphere is a laid-back, modern, lounge-y type place with perfectly set music. We will definitely be coming back for more!
