Took my family here for the first time. I had heard many great things about Vince’s, especially since The Pheasant Club had closed. West Sacramento has few sit-down family-style restaurants. The atmosphere is very old Italian, something out of a film. The bar area is quite large. We were given a table in a very bright noisy part of the restaurant where a curtain divided the room and a large birthday celebration was happening. The table next to us was having a celebration as well and was extremely loud and inebriated. The atmosphere was not great. The server was nice and attentive. FOOD – pros – the NY steak was good. The ribeye was very fatty and thin. The minestrone soup was delicious. The house white wine was nice – sweet and smooth. The baked lasagna wasn’t bad. The berry cobbler and chocolate mousse was yummy. Cons – The canoli was small and very sweet. The fish and chips was awful. Would not recommend. The fish was extremely dry, flavorless, and tasted freezer -burned.

I would go back and try something different. I would stick with the pasta and soup.

This place is amazing! From the friendly atmosphere to the service and of course the food. Rachel is amazing and so is the rest of the staff. I’ve been taking my dad there for the past few weekends and we keep returning because we are in love with this place. Highly recommended! Everything on the menu is from the Shrimp Sampfetti, Chicken Marsala to the Ribeye dinner. And don’t forget about their secret menu. They make homemade pizza for Friday comedy night. Definitely a hidden gem in West Sac

We found Vinces via the word of a worker at O’Rileys auto store. We found it…it was a Friday, and we had no reservations. They said….we could eat at the bar. OK no problem. They then said it would be 20 minutes before we could order. No problem, we understand. At 30 minutes or so….waiter said….it would be another hour before we could order!! Check please! You know, we understand 20 minutes…but, you can not say….at the end of that 20 minutes….it will be another hour before we can order!! Come on man…..that is not right! Bye!!

Vince’s Ristorante offers a classic old school Italian dining experience in West Sacramento. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, and the portions are generous. Their homemade minestrone soup is a must-try!

Very authentic feeling italian anerican place, great steak, pasta and service is like in the movies woth the bread and butter and appetizers actualy coming right away instead of with your main meal. Great place over all highly recommend it. Although do eat some pineapple before or drink a shot of something strong at the bar,the food the very authentic which means pretty heavy on the stomach and greasy. But very good.

Such a wide selection of food! Everything we tried was so good! We tried pasta, the steaks, and the desserts, everything was so good! It took just a minute to seat us, but once they did the food came out fast and the service was super friendly! (Rachel was the best!)

Delicious Lobster Fettuccine (Friday Lunch Special). If you want a side salad or soup it costs extra. I ordered the salad. Love the Italian dressing. And you get a little bread.

Service by Vickie was good. She’s a kick!

I love it when Waiters and waitresses provide their opinion, and mine was so nice about it. Excellent advice too because I sincerely had the best Chicken Marsala of my life here. It was unbelievably good. Like, could be illegal in several countries it’s so good. Absolutely amazing flavor. This picture speaks for itself, and that was the second half. I’d already eaten the first piece of chicken.
