Vinces also has classic favorites for the more sophisticated diner in you, that wants more than just a pasta or a pizza.
Now, please advise, we ALL know this is not a James Beard, or Michelin level cuisine. But that is not why you come here. You have your birthday gatherings here, you meet your friends for a drink here, you have a fun with your friends and family here. It’s the neighborhood place, and its popular, and every dish tasty, nostalgic, and you wish you could eat another.
Let’s not forget the front of house staff that has been around for awhile, and works to get to know you.
See you on Sunday’s for their all day happy hour, and a football game in the bar!
Thank you Vince’s!
We will comeback.
Some meals don’t just feed you — they win you over quietly, bite by bite. That was my recent experience at Vince’s Restaurant.
I came in hungry and open-minded, no grand expectations, and then the Al Limon showed up… and it was game over.
Let’s talk about it. Perfectly cooked penne slicked in a bright, lemony sauce that hits that magical balance between creamy and citrusy. Not heavy. Not sharp. Just right. The chicken was tender and juicy, the mushrooms earthy and buttery, and everything worked together like it had been doing this for decades — because it probably has.
This dish doesn’t shout. It charms. It’s the kind of plate you keep taking “one more bite” from even though you’re already full. I fell in love somewhere between the lemon, the parmesan, and the fact that nothing felt rushed or overworked.
The vibe at Vince’s is classic, comforting, and familiar in the best way — red-checkered tablecloth energy without feeling stuck in time. A place where you can actually relax, eat slowly, and remember why simple food done well is such a flex.
Bottom line:
If you go to Vince’s and don’t order the Al Limon, I can’t say we’re on the same path. This dish alone is reason enough to come back — and I absolutely will.
Sometimes loyalty is built quietly. This is how it starts.
We left DELIGHTED and came back two weeks later. This is a restaurant where I am not afraid of ordering something new because everything tastes great, prices are good and very competitive to Bellevue, and service is top notch :’) hidden gem
We love Vinces and the entire family still goes here regularly, 50+ years later.
But I have to say that every time we go here now, we are a little disappointed in the fact that you can no longer get our favorite little items that used to be such a big part of the experience.
We used to love the fact that we got breadsticks w/butter before every meal and a delicious crisp salad with most every meal.
Now, although the prices have increased substantially, you no longer get anything before or with your meal, except for a basket of bread, which is not even warmed up.
You can of course, still order breadsticks at an additional $3 or as a appetizer for $9.
And you can also order a salad for an additional $4, but it comes only on a small plate with limp, strange versions of lettuce. And if you try to order a side caesar, you are just out of luck period unless you want a large, more expensive, shareable one for 3 guests or more.
We do understand that things change. That times are hard. And that prices have gone up.
But, breadsticks and lettuce are some of the cheapest items ever and these little things would go along way if one, or both of them were included in meals (even if only in meals over a certain price point).
I’m sure there are those that come here and don’t miss these little things or even know the difference.
However, I’m sad to admit that some of us are even considering exploring other options for a new family favorite Italian spot.
And if that happens, we are sorry Vince’s.
We’ve all loved and enjoyed you for so many years and will always wish you nothing but the very best. 🙁
