Our waiter was genuinely pleasant, courteous, and professional throughout the meal. He maintained a friendly demeanor and created a welcoming interaction. However, we did have to repeatedly ask for particular items, as he seemed to forget a few requests. That said, his attitude remained positive, and he was quick to correct things once reminded, which was appreciated.
The ambiance was inviting, well-designed, and comfortable. From the lighting and décor to the overall energy of the space, everything contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable dining environment. It struck the perfect balance between lively and comfortable, making it an ideal setting for a pleasant meal.
Definitely worth recommending!
Only negative is the 20% gratuity placed on every check, please stop charging couples this outrageous fee as if they are a 6+ group.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was excellent. If you’re looking for great Italian food in the area, Vincenzo is definitely worth a visit! ✨
The food was also not good, especially considering how much we paid. We were planning not to leave any tip because of the poor service and food. However, we were surprised that a 20% gratuity was already added to our bill and for what level of service? We were only four people, so we don’t understand why automatic gratuity was included.
First of all, we were definitely not “happily eating and leaving” I’m not sure what made you think that, considering the poor service we received. And for the food, the lasagna was not finished, and yes, we had been starving the whole day. If we paid that much for a meal, are we not supposed to eat it?
Since you mentioned cameras, I know restaurants have them so feel free to review the footage and maybe focus on teaching your staff how to treat customers better instead of assuming things.
As for my friends leaving reviews, they had their own bad experiences as well. Why shouldn’t they share their honest opinions from their own accounts?
If you were too busy to provide basic service, you could have simply told us there were no tables available. We would have gladly gone somewhere else that treated customers better.
And yes, we finished in under an hour because we didn’t want to stay there any longer. I was irritated from the moment I walked in and spoke to the two guys at the counter the attitude was clear from the start.
I was expecting better service for the price we paid, the same way we get in other restaurants. And honestly, I probably will try a fast-food chain next time, because I’m confident the service there would be much better than what we experienced in yours.
(This review isn’t even mainly about the food if the service had been good, we could have overlooked the overpriced dishes and the automatic 20% tip.)
Vincenzo’s offers a well-lit and elegant setting. The food is beautifully plated, and the staff is generally polite. The burrata plate and bread with olive oil and herbs dip were particularly delicious. The gelato was okay, and the espresso was fresh and nice.
The Cons:
My kid’s meatballs were flavorful, but the spaghetti and sauce were bland. The same was true for our fettuccine Alfredo, even with the added parmesan. The short rib plate was just okay.
Constructive Criticism:
Very basic. I’ve eaten at many excellent Italian restaurants around the world, and Vincenzo’s has the potential to be one of them. However, the chefs and cooks are under-seasoning the food. If you’re going to charge the prices you’re charging + the automatic 20% tip and have a limited menu (which I appreciate ), then the food has to be amazing.
