It is exactly as it should be every single time and the food is unbeatable. It’s New Orleans uptown.. it’s a classic Italian hole in the wall experience. It’s never hard to park. It’s always safe to walk and the food is unbeatable.

I’ve traveled a fair amount abroad and travel is required very frequently in my line of work. I love to try new food and whats popular, but I also stick to my true favorites like Italian. Lived in Louisiana all my life and my wife and I come to New Orleans 1-2x and month, always trying something new. We’ve passed this location several times and we always wanted to stop in some time. And wow, we were soo glad we chose to come here tonight.
The atmosphere was dimly lit but very lively. The hostess was personable and the waiter was very about business yet had a warmer side. I asked him about the restaurant and it’s history and he gave me a brief run down of the family and turns out he’s a nephew of the late Vincent, and has been working with the restaurant 34 years.
The food was awesome start to finish, the bread was very hot and the whipped butter was wonderful with it. Our entrée’s came with a vegetable soup but she opted out of the soup and upcharged slightly getting the salad. The salad was absolutely worth it, it had a delicious pesto in it.
I had the lasagna and she had the cannelloni, of which I paired wine with mine-she paired a Pomegranate Limoncello Martini with hers. If that didn’t hit the spot enough, we decided to knock ourselves out and go for dessert! We shared the Tiramisu and got a Cannoli (to-go), the TIramisu was soo good we were over the moon after the Cannoli (couldn’t wait).
Soo all in all we were impressed which isn’t all the time at a restaurant, it’s luck of the draw. But if you’re looking for romantic-esc hole-in-the-wall and delicious food, look no further. Shout out to Ray our server, the nephew of the original founder, the late Vincent.

In a city of great restaurants, Vincent’s Italian Cuisine is one of the very best. Always outstanding. Service always great; last night our server was James-he was awesome. Youre doing your taste buds a disservice if you aren’t eating at Vincent’s.

Mr. Giorgio welcomed us warmly, making us feel like family from the moment we arrived. Mr. Otis delivered our food with exceptional care, and Ms. Maddy took our order and served us with outstanding professionalism. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish, and we will definitely be returning.

Love this little gem tucked away in an odd place. Feels like coming to eat at an old family members place. Building is small and cramped when busy. Food is excellent and very delicious. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Have a few favorite menu items. I got to share the food and experience with wife today as a little celebration. Vincent’s Italian never disappoints! Just a warning though, after eating here you will never eat olive garden again. I love little mom and pop places that continue to go out their way to make your time with them memorable. I will forever dine here. Thank you Vincent’s for everything!

Ordered on Uber Eats and had low expectations but this was THE BEST ITALIAN MEAL IVE HAD IN YEARS!! Unbelievably good! I had the chicken Parmesan and the lasagna. Both were PERFECTION!! Very flavorful and you can tell they use HIGH QUALITY INGREDIENTS especially the cheese Very high quality! And perfectly seasoned! Even the tomato sauce was flavorful!! The breading on the chicken was *chef’s kiss* crispy and perfectly seasoned. Nothing was giving cheap fast food. And the lasagna was soooo perfect! No notes! It tasted like it was made in an Italian grandmas kitchen. I was in shock at the quality! Will definitely continue to patronize this business! Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful experience! After not going g for over a decade, we returned to Vincent’s and were not disappointed. Exsquite wine list. The Crab ravioli was delicious, but I wish it was offered in a larger portion or as an entree. 3 ravioli was just a tease. Crab bisque and Italian salad also delicious and the seafood stack was incredible! Tira misu was great. It definitely won’t be another 10 years before we return.

Vincent’s on St. Charles is an absolute gem for classic Italian comfort food done right. We ordered the veal Parmesan, and it was outstanding—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and smothered in rich marinara with just the right amount of melted cheese. A true Italian classic executed perfectly.
We paired it with a side of pasta Alfredo, which was creamy, flavorful, and indulgent without being overly heavy. We also had the chicken Alfredo as a main, and it was just as impressive—generous portions of perfectly grilled chicken nestled into fettuccine drenched in a decadent Alfredo sauce. Just look at the pictures—it tasted even better than it looks!
From the old-school red tablecloths to the warm, attentive service, everything about Vincent’s feels authentically New Orleans Italian. It’s cozy, delicious, and full of charm. If you’re in the Garden District and craving Italian, this place is a must.

This has been one of my favorite restaurants for the last 15 plus years. I highly recommend the Parmesan Crusted Chicken and the Corn and Crab Bisque. I’m a pescatarian now (for the last 12ish years) and I still think about how delicious that chicken is. The service is always top notch. I do recommend making reservations because the seating is limited
