Went there tonight. Beautiful atmosphere. Great waitress mary. Calamari delicious, chicken parm and homemade paste great. Husband said veal piccante had more lemon then he liked but still good. Tiramasu was good but not great. Would go back in a heartbeat.

There was an exceptionally long wait for our food. The waitress was super friendly and accommodating. Brought out some samples of garlic toast and breaded flounder.
Two people ordered chicken parmesan. One went spaghetti and one with penne. There were mixed reviews. One diner enjoyed the chicken parmesan. The other thought it was a little bit too crispy and well done.
The atmosphere was slightly outdated but friendly staff and the food was adequate.
Ordered the eggplant rollatini, and it was like nothing I’ve ever eaten before in the sense that it wasn’t traditionally rolled up eggplant with cheese in the middle it had roasted peppers and I believe spinach. It was not a big hit. We were looking and expecting something more traditional.

A bunch of us had my birthday dinner at Vincentes! We all had a wonderful dinner and our waitress was the absolute best!! The owner made our salads and desserts table side such a wonderful experience!! If i could give more stars I definitely would!! Thank you Vincentes!!

I just finished dining at Vincente’s with a large party of about 15 for a birthday dinner.
We arrived at 7pm. We did not get served with anything to eat until about 8pm. An amuse-bouche of flounder and toast with beer cheese was served at that time—but, bread for the table was not present AND we had not ordered our food yet…an hour after we arrived.
Management should have assigned two servers to the table instead of one.
Our party did not get our entrees until after 9 p.m.! Some of the items were forgotten until we had to remind the staff about them. The service was very slow and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. It was interesting because the restaurant was definitely not at full capacity.
A positive was that both the Caesar and House Salads were very good. The rest of the food seemed a bit lackluster due to the long wait and forgotten food items.
I would not recommend going to this restaurant with a large party.

Five of us went for a Birthday dinner and were so pleased! The service, the food and the entertaining tableside specialties were all fantastic! They have a wide selection of entrees and appetizers, we will be returning in a month to try out more of the menu and to have a great time!

We took my parents here for dinner for my mom’s birthday. I made reservations for 4 online which was super easy.when we first arrived, the hostess asked the name and when I said it was for 5 instead if 4 I accidentally made the reservation for 4 when it should have been 5 I felt like she had an immediate attitude. Even my son mentioned it. Like it was a big deal (it really wasnt) her demeanor was definitely not friendly (even watching her the whole time we were there she had grumpy vibes) BUT I’m glad we stayed despite the hostess. The waiter was excellent and very attentive (thanks Chris!) he even brought my mom a slice of birthday cake. Mr Vincente Jr made the Cesar Salad in front of us and gave us a history of the recipe (but didn’t give us the recipe of course) and he was super proud of the salad. He was entertaining & the salad was perfect. He’s there Friday & Saturday. I made a note. The food was delicious. The cheesecake was divine. It’s a bit pricey but you get you pay for and well worth it. From the atmosphere to the food to the service, it’s definitely 5 stars. My only suggestion would be to encourage the hostess to have a more welcoming demeanor.

My wife and I are from Dover Delaware , we decided to go furniture shopping in Newark, and heard through a friend about this fantastic restaurant. The Italian food in this restaurant was amazing my wife, being Italian and being a foodie, certainly gave this place a five star rating. The food was not only delicious, our waitress was excellent. Unfortunately, we do not have any five star restaurants near us in Dover. I cannot wait to go back and try the other delicious things on their menu. This is truly a dining experience and you’re supposed to savor the food and enjoy the atmosphere not to rush through like you’re going through a drive-through window. Unfortunately, there are some people that do not appreciate fine dining, and Great atmosphere. The owner and his brother are extremely friendly and actually excited that we were there for the first time .Now that’s the way a person who is the owner and the customer are supposed to interact with each other.

Vincente’s Restaurant in Newark, Delaware, exceeded all our expectations! My husband and I enjoyed a perfect dinner here, with every detail thoughtfully executed. The highlight of our evening was the Caesar salad show—a truly delightful and unique experience that added a special touch to the meal.

My parent’s had their wedding anniversary dinner booked at a different restaurant (At the Rail) but arrived to no heat and a 3 option food menu. My mom was in tears. My parents called Vincente’s who not only got them in right away but also went out of their way to make it a night to remember. Despite being extremely busy with large parties, the staff made my parents feel special. When they arrived home, they both had huge smiles and so much to tell me about the food, the incredible staff and their dining experience. They really had the perfect anniversary dinner. Since I was puppy sitting for them, they insisted I try some leftovers. I was completely wowed by the veal Oscar- that sauce!!!! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for saving their day. Vincente’s has earned a forever spot as the go-to place for special occasions.

Food was delish as always, but the service was horrible!! Waited over an hour after our food was delivered to the table to see our server, server was aware we needed chili flakes and water, plus other beverages. Had order a dinner special that came with dessert, asked for the dessert Togo, waited over 20 minutes and dessert was no where to be seen, left with out it ! Will not be back unfortunately, we were celebrating an anniversary that will be memorable, but not for the right reason!
